Some corrections: The wolves pulling the sled are not Skoll and Hati, they're just two separate wolves that Atreus tamed. Also, Tyr wasn't the one mocking Kratos. That was Odin. Edit: Alright, I didn't know the names of the two wolves before, but thanks to users ElistSolid180 and Stephen Mcdowell., I now know that the wolves are named Speki and Svanna.

1. The Reptile creature atreus shoots is a Dreki 2. Odin is the one voicing over the trailer and at the Door. (richard schiff) 3. You are most likely right about the realm kratos is fighting the Valkyrie's in. (Ginnungagap) we see this on the cloth map we get in the jotnar edition. 4. The person Kratos is most likely carrying is Freyr, Reason for this is the burn mark he has, as well as the resemblance (clothes) in the Vanir twin statues we get in the collectors/jotnar edition, They are also most likely running away from freya as we have seen how she can manipulate nature with her Vanir magic.

I see what they are doing with Odin. In the myths he always shows a disguise of an old no threat looking old man. That Odin rarely shows his real self that he has the perfect body that men aspire to have but cannot never achieve. Could that be?

Perhaps a water rune on lava is to allow it to be controlled. Lava is earth in its liquid form. So it could be some aspect of whatever magecraft is being used.

Mimir speaks of Surtr with praise in the 2018 game, and he is going to destroy Asgard (something that I imagine will be on Kratos' bucket list) so he'll more than likely be an ally. I would like to see your opinion on tyr's Egyptian hieroglyphs tattooed on his arm. There was a post on the god of war subreddit deciphering the glyphs but I would like to hear your opinion from a myth perspective. You can see them pretty good on the tyr artwork and when him and kratos are holding hands.

One thing I find interesting is they barely shown, if at all, much of Jormungandr. He's a pretty big character (in 2 different ways) to just brush to the side. I know in the game cover you see his body frozen in the lake of nine, but to MY knowledge, I don't recall him ever being frozen in norse mythology

I think the person kratos was carrying was freyr. there is a short sword sheathe on the guys back an they are in vanaheim. It would also explain why Freya is using her magic in the sequence most likely to grab her brother. An if you forget the vanaheim gods don't know about why Freya broke up with Odin. They just know it's her fault why their peace treaty ended so their trust of her could be little to none. Also the mermaid could be rán,

Man, you're amazing on this analisys. I finished the game yesterday and you was right in 90% of your appointments! The only miss was say the doggos pulling an sled where Sköll and Hati, while they are normal dogs (or wolfs, in this case, but since they act like dogs, dogs they are). Intresting that they're removed some persons from some cutscenes, like the one on that mermaid scene.

I think the crocodile enemies might be more of different mythologies entering the Norse realm: like what if some of Tyr's gifts were animals, or Odin made him keep a menagerie of monsters he could experiment with or use as weapons?

personally I feel tyr gets involved at one point trying to stop kratos from getting to atreus since atreus is the catalyst of ragnarok and the scene where kratos seems emotionally split at the red trees was why he's like that. Especially confirming the "Killing without cause." line better that kratos doesn't always think. And that tyr would be the only ally that would have more answers we could see.

Yeah I think that’s mocking Kratos is Odin. It seems like Kratos and Tyr might have a pretty good relationship in game. Also I think when Atreus shoots an arrow at the moon, I don’t think he’s trying to start Ragnarok more undo it. It looked like the Sun and moon were stuck in an eclipse. Then when Skoll jumps back into the sky they’re fixing the world after Ragnarok. In eases they’re doing what Odin could never do.

Theory: Thor has to snap his fingers because Mjolnir isn't loyal to him, unlike with Leviathan for Kratos with him only holding out his hand. This could lead to how we vet to have the hammer in gamebwith us dual wielding them or something. Also, during the scene fighting Thor, Kratos doesn't have the Blades of Chaos.

I also think it would be cool to have mjolnir as a third weapon after the player defeats Thor, if that is what going to happen, like how Kratos took the weapons and tools of Gods and other enemies in the previous games. Gameplay wise I think it could work, because of how they implemented the Leviathan Axe and that it can introduce lightning attacks; but I am not sure how it would fit in with the story and pacing of the game. So I think it would be interesting to see, but I am not expecting much in this regard.

So I'm guessing the scene of Kratos leaving the Axe behind is at the beginning of the game and it's after the fight with Thor that we see here, and he realizes the axe isn't very effective against him so he falls back onto his old blades. So that way we have a new weapon to max out?

It definitely is. You can listen to Richard Schiff speak in other videos and it matches the voice we hear in the trailer Plus, narratively, it makes sense for it to be Odin, as every time Kratos & Atreus have opened their door to see who is waiting outside, it has always been an Odinson. First time was Baldur, second time was Thor, so it only makes sense for the third time to be Odin
