Panasonic Lumix FZ80/82 Getting Better Image Quality Part 5b: Shutter speed, photo styles for video

Continuation of the previous video looking at recording video with the FZ80/82 camera.
In this video a slightly more detailed look at why we set a shutter speed equal to twice the camera frame rate (the 180 degree shutter rule). Choosing the natural photo style and flattening the tone curve to maximise highlight to shadow regions captured (for post processing to achieve our desired look) . Manual white balance to get neutral colours in your video clips.

I just bought the FZ80 camera primarily to have a mirrorless video camera. I have a Nikon D500 but it's a pain to take video with it. I'll be shooting mainly fast moving jumping horses so would I set it on continuous auto focus? Any other tips for fast moving objects? Thank you so much for your time & effort in these tutorials !

What Video manual settings ISO, WB, shutter speed on a FZ80 for a novice, going to a late afternoon evening, bright well lit stadium football action? and crowd celebration zooms ? Or if all else fails should I leave it on auto, iA auto mode or "P" mode ? 4K 30 FPS or 1920 1080P 60 fps? Thank you!

I'm confused. How can you use a shutter speed slower than the frame rate?

Let's say the camera is set to record at 50fps and the camera is set to capture a 1/25 second exposure. It would store the same image over two consecutive frames of the 50fps video. This process is thus repeated 25 times every second. As a result of each frame being duplicated, you only get an effective frame rate of 25fps even though the video is, technically speaking, played back at 50 frames per second.

you probably wont see this comment .. so in all ur videos with this camera you are using tripod ... im using it mainly to birding and the camera do a great job at stabilising even at x60 .. but ofc its not that sharp ... im considering getting a tripod ... but im not sure the difference it would make ? is it worth it investing in a good tripod
