@pnichols6821 Straight up for real 😊. It's coming straight from his heart and a much deeper place, "his soul" . You can see it in his eyes because it IS so real ! I mean, you can feel it when he sings. Just like how he can sing along note wise with Jake when Jake is playing his guitar 🎸! By that I mean such as the humming etc. Not just when singing the lyrics ! Maybe it has to do with them being twins, I'm not sure but would almost bet "that" has so much to do with it! The haters need to shut up, they don't have to listen to them, they aren't being forced to listen! If they can't say anything but such negativity, they can start with one, don't listen to their music and two, stay off the comments! Some people are just jealous that it isn't themselves in GVF place, that's all there is to it RIGHT!? We that know can continue to enjoy this legend being made ! It's a blessing for me just listening to their music 🎶 🎵 🎸🥁💯💖

no, the late 60s/early to mid 70s, where their spiritual forebears thrived mostly. The late 70s and 80s were not a good time for this type of rock music. It was ok for punk and metal but not for blues based rock, or for glam or pomp rock, unless you count "hair metal...." and this lot are as far away from that as you can be. This band fuses Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Barclay James Harvest and a lot of others I can hear from that time besides Queen and Led Zep. Never the 80s. Let's give that era some distance! Sick of 80s revivals! It's been done over and over.

There's an interview done with them when they were first bringing out; Black Smoke Rising. It was in New York at a radio station. Josh sang as his brothers and the drummer were strumming acoustic guitars, definitely quite obvious that these "very gifted" young men didn't use nor need anything else but who they are and the gifts they have been blessed with. I believe that the twins were 20 at the time and they are the oldest of the four. They are pure, straight up rock. I call them; Ole Souls! Amazing! And have been since they began playing concerts. Wow!! I mean really wow!! I just discovered these very talented young people at of all places, playing with metallica in Atlanta. Never expected the lead off band that I never heard of, to come out and just floor me. They are refreshing and amazingly talented. Couldn't take my eyes or ears off of them, the whole time. The lead singers locals make me shiver. I too feel like I was watching future rock and soul legends being born. And yes, that's what I call their music. Rock and soul. I'm hooked GVF. Best wishes for the future of this talented group. ,Steve W, in ATLANTA.

They are magic. How can you cry and feel so happy at the same time? I saw Springsteen, Led Zep, Stevie Wonder in their prime, this is in that same category, but with wonderfulplus: they are so authentic, grounded, down to earth, humble, if you net Josh, he would just talk to you like a regular person. The videos of them in their back yard, at their birthday party with the old guy (uncle?) singing "Happy Birthday" while another old guy (dad?) videos, they blow out their candles, looks like just a local restaurant, and they are happy to be there, warmth and love all around. So grounded and real, and then they go on stage and are bigger than life, real rock stars without the personal issues and drama. Did not think that was possible. Their lyrics are often poetry. So open, so real, so confident, yet not a-holes. An audience of all ages. Peace and love preached through electric blues. Like Freddy Mercury, he does his emoting with confidence and no self-consciousness. I saw many of the famous 60s-70s rock bands, Boston, Eagles, Rondstadt, Zep, Wonder, Springsteen, they are that and more, but with a good quality person and a GOOD life behind them. And no pitch correction, backing tape, they are real, and they are imperfectly good in every way. Never saw so many comments about goosebumps and tears, so many comments about how they make people feel good. Doubt anyone will read this, but had to get it off my chest. Amazing that I could have this experience at 70. Probably won't see them live, but I wish I could.
