Where are you from?
- I am from Bavaria, hence my accent. :)
Why Miss Anglophilia?
- At the age of ten, I had my first encounter with the English language at school. My teacher never tired of telling us inspirational stories about culture “on the island”. And that was it - I fell in love with it all! So Miss Anglophilia is me and it has been for many years.
Is this just about England?
- As for me, it all started with England which we were taught a lot about at school. I was lucky enough to live in England for a little while during my university years. There, I got to know many lovely people - not only English, but also Scottish, Welsh and Irish. So for me, “anglophilia” doesn’t stop at the English borders.
What does "Servus" mean?
- It's a Bavarian word used to greet people that you know and like. :)

Salads are a great option to process left over meat from fancy dinners or the Sunday roast! I do that quite often as well. Throw in some eggs and you've got a full meal again. Perfect! 😍

Hi ! Thanks for this timely idea ! So nicely done and clearly presented. I think haggis is becoming even more popular in Scotland. You perhaps know that a lot of Scottish people hate seeing things going to waste, recipes like this are sought out here ! Haggis is being used more, and imaginatively served in smart restaurants. Haggis is unique and very tasty, you can be very proud of this national dish. :) In times like these, we need to find a good balance between being open minded to try new things from different countries, but at the same time not forget what one's own country has to offer. While I'm not a big haggis eater, I think what you did with it looks delicious. Love the way you made the poached egg, I hadn't seen that before. Looks like burrata.

Haha, you're right, it does look a bit like burrata! :) Yes, I've tried several techniques and hacks, but this one works best for me. The moving water prevents the egg from falling apart! :)

That did look delicious. I wouldn't have thought of that, haggis in a light lunch. Any leftovers i have i usually reheat, and have as part of a full 'Scottish' breakfast. I'll certainly give this a try though :)

Interesting idea, Eva! We never have any leftover haggis. =) In a salad I would probably want it fried with a bit of crispy bacon and chopped in hot into the salad. I can't imagine myself eating cold haggis. But I have never tried so who knows? By the way thanks for subascribing to my channel. Haha, well thank God, nothing happened! It was delicious, you should give it a try! :) Haha, oh well, these few drops in the salad weren't a problem at all. I also love it in desserts, like little cakes or something like that. The problem is drinking it...! ;)
