Braunschweiger isn't bad. I've had it before but it's been ages since I last ate any. My uncle use to buy livercheese (not actually cheese, basically liver patte wrapped in pork fat, but you peel the fat off) and fix sandwiches with it, thinly sliced onion and some spicy brown mustard. It's really tasty.

It’s the same way for me for Tagalog. When I was growing up my grandma was having me speak it fluently but when I entered school she said that my English was a problem becuase I would only speak Tagalog so my parents told her to stop teaching me it. Later that year she passed away so I didn’t get to learn it when I was older. And my dad only knows a few phrases. Looking back it’s sad I was too young to actually retain everything
