Dear Helena and all, I just want to share some experience. I remember when a guy flirted in front of me with another girl, we had some ghost period, as I withdrawn myself from him before that, so he wanted to provoke me. So, as time went by. I realized, he was pissed cause I didn't approach him, as he expected. Guys can put much more on us, then on themselves. Studying your chanel, I realized, how he was in wrong energy, as he expected for me 1st to reach out to him. Back then, I didn't knew nothing about feminine energy, but I really, did nothing, after he played that little show to make me jealous. It was the best reaction from me. We give People chance to disappoint us, the moment we put them on pedestal. That's my experience. And I have listened some clips where You said: Treat yourself as a prize, not them! I tried this in my marriage. Thank you for the good advice! I stopped pointing out every little thing he did that hurt my feelings and it improved our relationship. Letting him know how I felt (when it was a negative feeling) didn't seem to do any good. I think he felt like he was failing me all the time. I had to realize that he needs me to make him feel he's my hero and that he is respected and admired. I think he'd begun to feel criticized by me sharing my negative feelings with him and like he just couldn't win, so now I try to let him know when he does something right that makes me feel good and try to stay positive in my communication with him. It's completely changed the direction of our marriage, and he's treating me better than he has in a long time.

This is hands down the best advice I’ve ever heard . WOW. I found this just as I sort of had figured this out but hadn’t quite nailed it . It takes a very strong woman to be disappointed on a big level. I have my own take on this. The bible says do not put your trust in men because men are failure. Learn from everything a man does to you and never allow him back in your life wish him luck in his life. Say no hash words about him just dont say a word take your two feet and walk away. Because your life can only get better after how you have been treated. Another thing he must remember never hurt the hands that fed you wash and care for you had your child worked hard to build a home for you and your child. Its got to be better days. I am not perfect but when you gave your heart you gave him your all you tried and tried. He should of been man enough to say he is not happy. Serial.cheating. is one of the worst thing a woman could find out. All your dreams all the decent life you want is all gone because he lied he abandon me well love just dont live here anymore.

My long-term boyfriend is never abusive, he is not controlling, he is sweet and he constantly tells me he loves me, and I’ve never had issues with infidelity or getting him to commit. Although, he’s always had this tendency to be flaky. When we lived near each other and even after he has gone into the military and our time is limited. We do spend a lot of time together when we can and I am grateful for that, but he still is flaky with plans. He will cancel on me for things both big and small that come up afterward. At first I could handle it, but it has gotten old considering how long we’ve been together. I believe it’s more personality than anything else, but I’m not going to accept the behavior anymore. I’m going to use this technique from this week on. Especially because he is coming home for the holidays. This is something that really bothers me about our relationship and I feel peace in doing this.

My avoidant, 100% present when we are together ..then I'm back on the train...yes, he communicates, minimal but regular. This friends with benefits is quite cruel. Yet, the bonding process is intense. When I'm bonded I'm bonded. Driving around Cornwall, eating together..buys me my favourite wine ..we listen to music ...intimacy ..closeness. I'm in a relationship with him... but he isn't with me. Single when I'm not there...A couple when together....😕

Interesting stuff. Men fall in roughly two categories. 1 They have clear requirements for the type of relationship the want with the type of women they want. 2. They don’t know what they want or afraid to say what the want as not to have the access to sex end. Guy 1 will let you know you are not for him. Sometimes with the excuses of “I am not ready for a relationship. Guy 2 will drag his feet and possibly be guilted into a relationship.

Hi Helena I've been with my boyfriend for 3.5 years. He's a great partner, supportive, kind, thoughtful, affectionate, honest..quality time.. The problem is I suffer from abandonment anxiety, anxious attachment style and mild depression.. little things I say will set him off and he pulls away which makes me sick for days.. makes me want to cling harder and hold things inside in fear of not upsetting him. He often cannot be there for me on a deep emotional level.. or if I have bad anxiety, he doesn't know what to do or will avoid me.. its almost like he pulls back when seeing me sad or anxious. He tells me he cannot always be there in the way I need because it affects him emotionally.. What do I do?? Please help

Sorry to hear that. I think you should confront him on this because him not texting you could've been a number of things. Just ask him why he didn't text you. If you've been dating for years I don't think he would start cheating now tbh with you. Just ask him and see what happens. I sincerely hope he didn't cheat on you since you seem worried and upset. Take care, hope it works out. P.S. if you aren't happy with the relationship(him not giving you enough attention) even though he always texts you.... Maybe break it off, however it could be a personal struggle or something he is dealing with. Idk, just ask him and reach out. I'm sure he will be honest with you.

Well he isn't my bf. But he's my bestfriend.. His friend told me that he knows that I like him.. But she didn't say if he does. 30 minutes ago he said texted me. "Oh I forgot about you lol. I think he meant it in a playful way like, "How stupid, I forgot about you. I'm an idiot 😂😂😂" sort of thing, you know what I mean? Sometimes other people's humor can be taken as mean. Like I type "haha" at the end of my msgs and a friend I know thought I was laughing at him or mocking him(which I wasn't) I stopped with the hahas to make him feel better. Just let him know how you felt about that, he does still like you pal. I think he stopped answering because he doesn't know what he did wrong and is confused/embarrassed. Don't take it personally, I hope this helps. Since you love him, I hope everything works out fine in the end. Peace ❤️
