What do you do when a guys is doing everything right on paper, he wants to constantly spend time, introduces you to friends and family, he makes plans for the future, includes you in everything, asks your opinion etc. But he isn't extremely affectionate and he also doesn't verbalize how much he likes me anymore. A few months ago he would but now we have settled into a routine. He still is doing most of the "right things" but the affection and verbal is lacking

I was attached to a man that was hot and cold. I finally moved on after feeling the rejection. And found someone that is 100% in pursuit of me. And funny, the other guy, months later, reached out to ask me out for a date and I said, "you had your chance." Sorry Charlie... You had your chance. Now I have a guy that won't keep his attention off of me and it feels so good.

If he runs - let him. He isn’t mature enough to value you. We shouldn’t have to do these things to capture him. He should know and if he doesn’t, then let him go and respect yourself without allowing a man to dumb you down!
@HelenaHartCoaching
@HelenaHartCoaching 3 жыл бұрын
I agree, it’s not about “doing” things to capture a man - it’s about knowing your value and what you deserve, and acting according to that belief. Unfortunately that doesn’t come naturally for many people which is why I recorded this video, to help women empower themselves from the inside out. 💗

The second one about your attitude and mindset is so important. If you put negativity out into the universe, that's what you'll get in return. Being willing to walk away is a great way to wrap it up, Helena. I never put my eggs in one basket. I stay hopeful there's a match out there...but the important thing to remember is we have to not ASSUME someone's right for us but OBSERVE to see if our values agree with each other. Actions always speak louder than words. Thank you, as usual, for the wise advice! God bless you.

I was really starting to doubt myself because the man that I have started to truly value in my life, consistently has other women on his social media flirting with him and occasionally, he flirts in return. I learned to trust myself and not settle for anything less than I deserve. Note- I'm 54 yrs old. Widowed at 43. I love who I am and definitely trust myself more than ever. The best tip I got from one of your guests was to focus on our dream relationship. Not on a dream man. We are all flawed humans so getting a dream man is impossible. But it’s possible to have your dream relationship by establishing the right rituals + positive reinforcement You should talk more about it. It shifted everything in me. Having a vision is everything. You can double check with yourself at all stage. I dumped the last man who loved me deeply but would not reach out often when my dream relationship consists of a man who calls me for no reason just to check if I’m having a great day. I thought “he will never call me if we date. I need to cut him off “ Having a “why” is equally important. Ask yourself “why do I want to be in a relationship?”. I personally want to date just to be cherished. By reconnecting to my “why”, I’m able to see if a specific guy aligns with my purpose .

Thanks for this video! I appreciate the advice. I had the very experience you mentioned with a man I dated last year that was not showing up for me. I thought we had an amazing connection and was always prompting him and moving towards him as soon as I felt him backing away. The rollercoaster ride was excruciating. My ego was ruling my behavior...a very dangerous thing. I even put up with him ignoring texts or calls on occasion and other disrespectful behaviors. I have to mention that the intense sexual experience played a huge roll in my desire to keep him in my life. That’s food for thought. Today, I am dating a wonderful, kind, loving man who is always moving toward me in a powerful masculine way. It’s an unbelievable contrast. The calmness, the mutual respect, the loving feelings, his consideration and kindness...wow! I had forgotten what it feels like. I look back and shake my head about what I put up with. It’s really difficult to extract yourself energetically from a relationship like that. I struggled for a long time.

Thank you Helena. This is the perfect video for me. I’ve always put so much focus on one man and it’s great at the beginning, but in the it ends up pushing them away because I think I put them on a pedestal. They were always attracted to me at the beginning because of my independence & love for life. But once I get in a relationship with a man I put too much focus on them, and become codependent & overstep my boundaries.

Trust in partners love for you if he withdraw than he clearly not for you he’s not for you ! He should Persue you ! Effort is attractive ! Effort is attractive ! Hook up chemistry to mans masculinity! Man isn’t put into effort then simply effort is attractive then you will loose interest ! The fact self esteem is not tied to so closely to what he’s doing or what he’s not doing ! Feel so secure I self trust the right man will want to be with you on your end no matter what a man is doin or not doing everything is always working out for you ! That means there another better match for you around the corner or several ! Don’t get attached to someone who’s emotionally unavailable ! There’s a better match for you around the corner ! This is so true ! There an amazing match for you around the corner ! Be willing to walk away ! If you truly are willing to walk away if he doesn’t put on effort he will feel that in your vibe !

Here is a problem I’m sure is common... When I’m consuming this kind of content or taking courses from you or whoever, I feel this way. I’m able to emit the vibe that I am independently happy etc. However the opposite behavior (being in wounded masculine/feminine energy) has been so habitual for me that the minute I put the content away it’s easy to automatically go back to that behavior. How can we retain this stuff and consistently show up for ourselves?!

There this guy liked,in fact he pursued me at first and then when I felt like his the one and showed him, he changed, he was never giving me time like before ,I text him and he delays o even doesn't reply ,,, omg I used to feel bad about my self, I cried, I was gloomy all the time.but during the depression his best friend , boss came in. He tried a lot to earn me but I didn't give him my attention at first but guess what, he didn't give up on him me guys ,,up to when I decided to try him out but I can't believe that despite how I treated him he still stayed and now its me and him ...that takes me to the fourth attitude, that, things will always work out for me..am so happy now

My man and I ended things after two years together. He is a wonderful person but a complete workaholic and wouldn’t compromise on taking one day off a week to quality time spend together. I’m hoping now I’ve finally let go, things will get better for me 😪

I wanna share my experience after learning so much from you, I started seeing a man, we met two days ago and everything went super well, but he didn’t text the last couple days after we met. The old me would have texted him hundred times and acting needy, but I didn’t do anything and waited that he initiates the contact. Today he texted me saying he had so much work and that he finished work at 11 pm. I showed him that I understand it and we can talk or meet whenever he can. It took me so much courage to avoid unnecessary texts and I felt he was so appreciative of my behavior. (Hope it makes sense, English isn’t my first language)

Yes, wait for the guy to initate. And actually I would let him know when YOU have the time. Not whenever he can make it. Sure, you understand but remember you are living your best life. Ive been in a similar situation... I think you also need to not worry about whether or not he appreciates you not initiating contact because what really matters is what you want... Is this going to be a continuous behaviour on his part? Are you always going to be waiting for him to contact first? If so how long for? It's not about him being busy or who initiates contact... Its about the consistency of his EFFORTS! And most importantly what is it you want in YOU'RE love life from the RIGHT man! Just good for thought so you don't waste your time like I did. All the best!

I've been saying to my friends in the past few months that nothing is less attractive than a man who is not trying, because this guy that I used to like has shown zero effort in me lately. Well, he'll soon have to realize (or not, lol) that my interest in him has completely evaporated. So much so that I'm not even sure I'd want him again even if he tried to make an effort.

Great and timely video!! Effort is attractive, a man has to continually step up! Trust that there is someone better out there who is better for me! i just got "dumped" by an emotionally unavailable man that was the king of mixed messages. I needed to hear this. I felt his energy pull away about 2 weeks ago and turns out he found someone else, but "i am the best buddy he has ever had and he values my friendship and wants to remain in contact". Ugh! I have been working off of the scarcity principle, I know. I need to really trust that everything is working out for me, he was not my guy, and a new and better option is around the corner! Helena, you are wise beyond your years! Thanks you for giving great advise to us oldsters! Love knows no season, and your advice is timeless! ..."Trust that the right man is not going to risk losing you..." What a great thing to think about and absorb! "Your self-esteem or mood or the way you feel about the world should NOT be tied to any man or to what he is doing or NOT doing..." How many women (including myself) have I met who let this happen! They defined their own worth by HIS actions! Even as I write it, it sounds absurd! But it happens... Keep it up, Helena! you're the best!! Love you!
