I dropped a heavy object on my right big toe well over 30 years ago. This is my story...limited movement in the right big toe. Left me with left side planter fasciitis, under developed left calf and knee issues. The lack of VMO muscle in my left leg is noticeable. Through the good information I've gained from your site I'm also rehabbing a badly injured posterior tibialis. I've just started some specific exercises a couple weeks ago and hopefully I'm on the right track. Thank you for all the information, it's not easy to get information on this subject. Best wishes.

What if you can't even stand without your feet turning outward? Standing with my feet parallel feels so unnatural.

I had a spinal leak that compressed my pudendal nerve among other nerves. I had an EMG showing current posterior tibialis nerve damage. I have “drop toe” my big toe doesn’t have strength and lack of movement. My arch fell and my big toe has shifted inward giving me a huge bunion. I have that callus on the side (you called it pinching)… my question is my second toe keeps getting a cut/sore on the tip. It looks like it is trying to aggressively grip the surface when I walk. Is that a known problem with this type of nerve damage? Also they want to fuse my big toe. Wouldn’t this cause that 2nd toe to grip worse? Thanks

Is the big toe meant to be constant activate or connect to to the glutes?

Thank you for this information. I’m currently experiencing severe pain in this area. Should I start your recommend exercises now or wait until the pain lessens? If I do them. Ow will it make the pain worse? Thanks again.

But if you have retroversion hip your toes are going to point out. If you dont, then you will have hip problems.
