I love your “what I eat” videos! They’ve made meal time so easy…. Pick your protein and produce, then turn it into nachos (or ANYTHING else that I am craving)

I've always wondered how somebody can intermittent fast and eat 100 g of protein I have a hard time eating 30 to 40 g in the morning and then I'm not hungry at lunch I have to force myself to eat something at lunch. Thanks for the yummy recipes I love this channel!!

Btw I made your cauliflower nachos today, but with ground beef since that's what I usually have on hand. WOW, they were incredible. I loved the roasted, cumin cauliflower as a base, just fantastic. My mom's a carb junkie and she pronounced them delicious. That was a great idea you had! ❤

Hi Autumn I made this smoothie with your chocolate whey protein powder and a 1/2 cup of full fat cottage cheese instead of the yogurt….not only was it delicious, it was very satiating 😋 held me over until dinner. I technically could have gone longer because I still wasn’t hungry.

I have looked at tons of video's on how to eat and get fit. All have things in common; exercise, eating whole foods, keeping stress levels down, and getting the proper amount of sleep. Limiting high inflammatory foods, and keeping hydrated with water and electrolytes to aid in hydration. The one thing they all have incommon, no matter the foods they eat or any advice, is exercise.

@autumn, you spoke to exactly why I stopped intermittent fasting. To try and hit my protein targets was challenging and I found myself eating when I wasn’t hungry and then felt Bloated. I switched to carb cycling which has been working well. Are there benefits of a carb cycling rotation and is there an intermittent fasting window that would be compatible to do both? Or, is it more like one or the other?

I've been making carrots with turmeric and fresh ginger (cooked in pressure cooker to retain minerals) then i blend it with a hand blender and put it in a ziploc and freeze. Then i make smoothie with a few chunks of that, frozen peaches, unsweet almond milk and greek yogurt. I'm going to add Chia seeds. It has the consistency of soft ice cream. Any suggestions or changes? Thanks

I’m really struggling with when I should eat my meals during the day. I wake up at 6am, leave for work at 7:15 and then don’t get my lunch break until 1pm so that is when I usually eat my first meal of the day but then I get home at around 4pm and would need to stop eating at 8 to get that high quality sleep. So I find I only get two meals per day if I’m intermittent fasting.

I had a similar work schedule and I would have 2 cups of tea during the day before lunch. But I also had a hands in job so there was no time or boredom for me to think about hunger. Then lunch I would have my first meal and also pack a protein shake to sip on during work. Then I would go home and have a low carb dinner. Taking a smoothie to work was a game changer. Especially high fiber kale shake for more veggies & satiety

Thank you for all your videos and the science behind IF, different foods and macros. I'm a mid 30s male and i was weighing 248lbs before wanting to take the weight loss journey seriously (my kids really have been my motivation).I've been following your steps for IF for about 4weeks now, in addition to IF, i have been doing body work outs 5times a week 4weeks prior to starting IF (so 8weeks so far). I've lost 20lbs since i started, and i think ive been pretty good with my protein and fat intake. But ive been having hypoglycemia symptoms (cold all the time, tired, and cold heavy sweating at night)... Im not sure if I need to adjust my carb intake. With wanting to maintain insulin levels low doesnt it mean we should also try to have low blood glucose levels? But whats too low? If anyone who has gone through this while starting IF could shed some light into what adjustments I could make it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Your face hahaha ‘Look what I made?’ 😂 Trust me. Having a ‘good’ eater like Trev is a pleasure. Doesn’t matter how much or how little time you spend cooking a meal, they gobble it up and appreciate it. I have 3. 1 eats everything. He’d probably give road kill a nudge 😂 2 is a great cook. He eats well in the veggie department but doesn’t eat any fruit or salad. 🤷♀️ Number 3. Kid lives on a glass of water & a fresh air sandwich! Won’t eat a thing. Appalling diet. He’s almost 21 & eats what we call the ‘white diet’ Not from lack of trying by me when I was raising him. As an adult he eats highly processed garbage. Instant noodles, pizza with just ham & bacon, toast with white bread., He won’t even touch an egg! I hope Sage loves her food. It’s so much easier & develops a great introduction to food & its variety.
@sandyvdh622611 ай бұрын
I don't want to know how expensive it is to make smoothie that way... Seems like we need to find it normal that " high quality protein" equals SUPEREXPENSIVE protein powder...? You can find parts of vitamines and zinc that propolis offers in other foods.... CAULIFLOWER does not need the torture of salt if you cook / prepare it properly taste it will become sweeter...also combine it with White sauce, cheese sauce or another tasty sauzen or put it together with the meat and its juice... It is unnecessary to drown " bland" veggies in a bath of salt ( or butter).....! Americans should learn to use their taste buds...and not automatically put TONS of salt , pepper and paprika on just about anything... Unless you would like to soon see the inside of cardiology or stroke unit...
