I love your work and whole process, I will be buying some of your your work soon I especially like the mini print series. I paint with you everyday, love your sense of humour, relaxing music, process, you are my go to for inspiration and fine art practice when I paint. I make my own botanical inks and mineral paint, it’s vegan and non toxic. ❤

Thank you co much Tina, that's so encouraging to hear! I love that I paint with you every day 😊 I've often thought how great it would be to make my own paints!

This video is surely useful to show that you can change things and how to change them. What I would find helpful is when you say e.g. 'I want this to be lighter/darker/more yellow/...' is why. Why would it be better? E.g. something like 'I have harsh contrast here and here and here and here already, one of them needs to go' or 'This is too close to the edge and looks like squeezed in' or whatever your specific reason is for wanting to change that area. If I had been my paintings not only I wouldn't have made the same decisions (which is all right). In some cases I couldn't see any reason at all for you doing what you did. This definitively means there is something I didn't understand and could have learned.

She's making these for free, so maybe just be grateful for what you get..?

@@yorkshiregirl992 I am grateful. Implying something for free is expected to be less perfect would be less grateful.

Greetings to Johanland 😉 That is precisely the beauty of making art, that no artists decisions would be the same. And there aren't any perfect steps to take in a painting, otherwise all paintings would be the same. I try to explain why I'm doing what I'm doing as often as I can. And you are right that for an instructional video the reasoning could have been clearer.
