Your sense of humour is what is draging me in to click each of your videos and you never fails to impress me. But I later realised that I'm so much impressed that I lost my 5kgs. I never thought I can be on a fasting for more than 4hrs... Now I'm on 15:9 fasting... ❤️

Iam from Salem Tamil Nadu and I lost 15 kgs from 85 to 70 kgs by doing intermittent fasting after giving birth to third child as a mother I proud of myself and I want to all other women's should reduce the weight and to prove themselves that we can do anything in our life 👍

Good morning Dr I'm Radha Gurucharan I'm in 69 years old I'm a pure vegetarian I was following paleo veg diet thru ஆரோக்கியம் நல்வாழ்வு group I met Dr Hariharan in CBE RS Puram I'm also settled I CBE near press colony I was in 96 kg I lost 22 kgs Now I'm in 74 4 kgs Now 8 months back I have undergone Inguinal hernia in காரமடை hospital Now I'm foll following ur tips Morning at 9 30 am we take a cup of coffee with milk without sugar We go for walk morning and evening I almost cover up 13000 steps 8kms We follow one meal a day More veggies and fruits Take dry fruit milk shake Evening mostly at 5 30 pm We finish up our dinner with fruits or the shake I'm healthy Taking 25 mg tablet losar fro b p For more than 15 years I try my best to follow the food what I can I'm little bulky around my belly and at the back I like to reach 60kgs I never skip up my walking Along with walking I was doing zumba mild ly for 20 mts and 40 mts yoga Now after the operation I'm not doing yoga still But I do some exercises for 20 mts Please guide me little more to reach my target Thank u very much We both my husband 74 years old also following the same diet Mostly we take rice once in a week Sometimes millets Mostly we follow 16 8 hours intermittent fasting I'm a retired Tamil.teacher worked in Coonoor St Joseph's convent Anglo Indian board I think I have a given a long discription about us Ur talk motivate us U r inspiring us Once again thank u very much

Dear Doctor, Your video has brought us so much awareness to our health even though we eat healthy. My husband and me have been following the IF for the past 6 weeks. He has lost 6 kgs with a 14/8 window. I notice I didn’t reduce as much he did so I pushed myself to 14/8 to 16/8 and then 20/ 4 it really worked. I have lost 6 kgs in 6 weeks. My waist was 110 now 94 My weight was 74 now 69 Thank you for your clear information. May God bless you more to safe others from this prey of obesity.

I have restricted the Eating window to 9 hours from 14 hours which i used to do before, clubbed this with Jogging 5 days a week. I have lost around 10kgs in last 45 days Doctor. Thanks for the suggestions :)

Dr. Pal - I have been doing IF since 2019 and kept my weight off and felt good until 2023. Around mid 2023 I was succumbing to eating a lot of fried food, which in turn increased my weight and craving for fried food. I accidentally found you again and I realized that it is my bad gut bacteria etc . etc… Now I am back to healthy eating and following time restriction and focusing more on healthy eating. Thank you for motivating me back to this healthy lifestyle!

Came down to 84 kgs from 104 kgs.. Update : At end Started calorie tracking, intermittent fasting and exercising on April 14 (Tamil New Year) and I am glad that, I would most probably reach my ideal BMI weight (83.7 kgs) before August 15 (Independence Day) 🙈 Edit : Reached my ideal BMI yesterday (August 11) with 83.25 kgs🙈😎 Still a long way to go!

I have started diet on July 10th On August 10. Reached 98 kg from 106 kg.But now weight is not getting reduced as it was in first 2 weeks.I want to bring it down 90 first. Pot belly is not getting reduced

@@vismayakannadachannel9381 assuming you're indian, Morning : Roti without Oil + Paneer grilled with olive oil Snacks : milk, peanut butter Lunch : Rice (300-400 grams), Sambar (130-200 grams), Poriyal Snacks : fruits/milk Dinner : fruits, but then stopped taking dinner as I increased my fasting period..

47:19 “your mental health will get better” this happened to me. My anger is reduced a lot, I feel calmer. Just one month of strict and religious TRE along with healthy food, veggies and fruits. 51:03 how beautiful it is to help the community and grow together by sharing success stories thereby motivating others ❤

Hello Dr Pal Sunrise and sunset eating... this is what is taught in VIPASANA Meditation. Nice to go back to our roots. I accidentally just found you here and I am glad for that. Today I started this method of eating. My first intake was at 6.30am and last intake at 1.30pm. Then on only water. I will keep you posted.

Dr.Pal Iam suffering from RA bse of AUTO Immune Disorder..For the past 2 years.And my weight also high..my height is4'10" .my wt is 72 nearly.I was looking for wt reduce and tried many ways. After coming across your IF ..within one week I came to 8:16....it's amazing I reduced 4 kgs in 3 weeks....and amazingly my Rhumatoid arthritis also greatly came down..... thanks a million... thanks and reading this every one should follow IF. Thank you for your advice I am going to eat 10:30 am to 6:30 pm that is 8 hours and I naturally go to sleep at 9:30 pm and wake up at 5:30 am. You inspired me to skip the am coffee and drink water and walk in the morning before my first meal! Thanks 🙏

I think following the same fasting technique (if you don't have any problem with it) accompanied with exercises might help you a lot in reducing the weight further.

Hello Doc Pal,ive been watching ur videos since i found it yesterday because im searching some informative videos regarding about health issues. Im 41 of age, Weighted 138Lbs and 155 height ... I just recieved the results of my blood check up last week.. As indicatEd I havE mild anemia and bit high cholesterol. I will be indebted if U can help me in this. And i believe too that we Don't own our body that as uve said we are just renting on it so need to pay a good and proper meal. Please change your time from 10 am to 8 pm. Eventually, you can adjust to ideal eating time of 10 am to 6 pm

Plants only diet is definitely the way to go but you need to remember certain common nutritional deficiencies are more common in vegetarian than in meat eaters like a) Vitamin b12 b) EFA -Omega 3 c) Vitamin D d) Iron So get a comprehensive blood tests which reflects your overall health and not tests focused on symptoms or a specific disease . Take quality supplement which are not sold OTC Dr in lifestyle medicine MD , USA 🇺🇸

All results are within the guidelines. oh sorry I did exaggerate a bit by saying PLANTS only.... I also eat mushrooms BTW 73 y/o and not on any meds !!! thanks again for your reply

He would probably be advising you to stop taking food by 7pm and start eating after 7 am.. it is advisable to consult a doctor before starting, if you have any other health issues.

Protein rich foods and less Carb foods (of you're looking to loose weight), fruits (although a few are rich in carbs, they are good) - Eating period Only Water - Fasting period

Decrease 1 hour from dinner time and follow for 6 weeks. Gradually, you can adjust to ideal eating time 10 am to 6 pm. Take healthy and fiber rich foods with minimum 1200 and maximum 1800 calories Also follow my weight loss series for more details

Dr.Pal, Thanks for spreading the knowledge & goodness through your videos. Question : I am a vegetarian and I have NOT yet started IMF & I don't follow any diet plan. But I try to do some kind of fasting one day a week (whole 24 hours - occasionally only juice, fruits and water) . The problem is by 3 pm my head starts to hurt, stomach growls in hunger and break the fast and eat. Why am I not able to fast one whole day? It is frustrating. What am I not doing right?

Hi Dr. Thanks for all you help and advice, on weight reduction. Its highly beneficial. I am from Seattle region, I have lost good amount of weight. I have took Lipid test before and after the weight loss Journey with restricted feeding model. I do see spike in my Lipid levels from the past. I have reduced 40lbs of weight as of now. Is this spike expected? If yes any additional care needs to be taken in this case? I do see similar effects with spike in Lipid with my brother who has lost 20Kgs who reduced weight as per dietician advice back in India.
