I'm so confused because idk if I'm bi or if I'm just making up the whole thing in my head. I don't know what's real (as in my feelings) and I don't feel ready to start dating for a lil while, I feel like that/experimenting would help me realize if those feelings are real. Idk im just trying to figure my brain out. I think I kinda realized that I might have a crush on a girl but am still wrapping my head around it. edit: hello, I made this comment 2 years ago now which seems crazy. About a year after I wrote the comment and watched this video I was comfortable and accepting of my own sexuality :) I identify as bi and lemme tell you the amount of crushes I have because I like men and women is astounding (though theyre mostly fictional crushes lmao). Take your time and don't pressure or expect anything, that is what I did and one day I just realized "oh, yeah im bi". Things will work out in the end and if any of you need help or want someone to talk to we can chat on insta/snap etc :) stay strong and be open with yourself

I'm definitely attracted to both genders, but I can only see myself married to a guy. This is why I've been questioning my sexuality so much and don't know if I'm bi or not. Any answers? Edit: I already posted this in the comments, but it seems like people have not seen it. I love seeing all of these comments helping me out and others asking me for help. In these past six months I have come out as liking both guys and girls. I have not put a label on myself, because labels are for food and clothing and I just don't feel I need one. I have recently come to terms though with the fact that I am most likely bisexual, but heteroromantic. That being said, there is still room for my sexuality to change as I have never been with either. Also, I do lean more towards guys than girls, but that doesn't mean I am any less attracted to girls. I have found that this is a normal thing as well and many people who come out as bi or anywhere around that label tend to have a preference. I hope my experience has helped anyone who has been asking themselves the same question I asked before and thank you to the other comments who have given me great advice and have helped me in some way come to terms with and accept my sexuality.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I feel like I really am bi. It's hard to tell tho because despite being a 17 year old girl, I've never had much experience with any gender (probably because of my low self-esteem and feeling of unworthiness). But anyway, when I was younger I only had crushes on guys, although occasionally I might have felt attracted to female celebrities, but it still somehow felt different from liking males. Then there was this weird time-period a couple years back when I was mildly attracted to one of my best friends who had just recently come out as a lesbian (and now identifies as non-binary/gender fluid), but nothing ever happened with that and we're now just really close friends. I've also always been kind of obsessed with anything LGBTQ+ related so that sometimes makes me question my sexuality. But, I guess time will tell eventually, though it would be nice to know for sure instead of having to just guess 🙃

Okay, this really explains me. I’ve noticed how I would always want to watch shows and read books with lesbian characters, and how I find straight couples so boring on shows/movies and books. And I also noticed that I became more attractive to multiple people after realizing they liked girls...idk if that’s just me wanting to be bi??? I listened to a song and just said, oh I'm bi and I stick with that, if I feel uncomfortable in situations surrounding my sexuality I just remember that song and remember the freedom and turmoil and how I overcame it slowly. I still have anxiety about it but it's comforting to remember the night I came out to myself because what I learned is that not many people really care what you like as long as no one gets hurt without consent. What you like is what you like and that's not gonna change with defiance but with acceptance in time you'll feel better.

my best friend is bisexual and mostly into girls, and it’s been that way since 6th grade, and it’s kind of our joke that i’m the most straight person alive and we’re totally opposite, but i honestly think i’m bisexual. not towards her but, in general. i’m the most stereotypical straight person but i feel attracted to girls, and it’s not crazy to imagine myself kissing one. ive always been boy crazy, and always will be. i’m become obsessed with girl in reds music, and i cannot tell if i just am confused, or i’m actually into girls too. i feel i’d prefer guys but would still be into girls. i feel like i can’t talk to my best friend about this and it’s always on my mind, like a little secret between myself and i. i feel like i can’t talk to her because she was so sure of her sexuality. i’m not. and she knew so early and i didn’t.

I felt the exact same way, but I ended up forcing myself to talk to some friends about it and figure my shit out. I'm a total lesbian but everyone always thinks I'm straight so I was in pretty much the same situation with you. Even if your experience is very different from your best friend's, you're still valid and you'll figure it out! It's okay to be unsure and to ask for help with figuring it out, and it might actually help a lot to compare notes with her since you think you might have the same sexuality

Well then... Something you just said shook me to the core. You said how when you were younger you'd look at women and say to yourself they were so pretty and wanted to look like them..... When I was about 12 my grandparents caught my search history LMFAO but I was confused as hell. They asked me if I just wanted to look like them and out of fear said yes... Which was partly true. I aspired to have big boobs and got my wish lmaooo 😂 but even then something told me that wasn't all. I've only ever been romantically attracted to men during my 26 years of life... But God. My friends were starting to notice I'd exclaim women's bodies were so gorgeous and I would say it was just from an artist point of view. But this one friend... It ended up being I couldn't sleep over with her anymore, or be in the same room when she was wearing certain things cause I couldn't handle the rush of hormones I've never gotten in such a way around a guy.... Which makes me sad... She was one of my best friends. I've never come out to anybody before. I'm 26 and in a relationship with a guy I love being with... But find myself accepting more everyday bi is probably my truth.

You could be both sexually and romantically attracted to boys, but with girls you only want a romantic relationship. Also: being bi isn’t about being attracted 50/50 to both genders. We all have different relationships with each genders. You could be more Emotionally and romantically attracted to this gender, and physically attracted to that gender, you could also you can be like for ex. 20% physically attracted to girls and 80% on guys. And 80% emotionally attracted to girls and 20% on guys..

This actually made things very clear and opened up my mind, I’ve been confused for years and now I realize I kinda don’t have to label it other than I am attracted to both genders etc. We’re just these beings with differences and some people still believe we’re not supposed to love others because of their gender identity (or lack there of) in that way. Like we’re just humans and I don’t need to impose the beliefs of others on to who I am. This made me remember that I’m not bad for feeling this way. I wouldn't suggest coming out since you're still so young & haven't had a crush on a girl yet, but even if you're wrong at first there's no shame in that! The only way you'll truly know if through time and experience. Like literally I started out identifying as pansexual when I was 12, then went to straight until I was 15, and then to bisexual until a month ago when I realized I'm a lesbian (at 17). So really don't worry about being right or wrong, just take it as you go and learn more about yourself!

I actually felt really awkward when I first started having sexual thoughts for one of my mates, and I have come to a conclusion. It is easier for girls to accept bisexuality than it is for boys, because the pure thought of sex with another guy feels painful. At least my experience. Still discovering my sexuality here

Honestly been questioning my sexuality for several years now. This actually helped me a lot. Because I’m romantically & sexually attracted to both genders but have been leaning more towards guys.
