This is good advice. I agree with you 300% that if you bring up your negatives and tell the whole truth about it, it will disarm the other side. This is especially true when you know the other side is going to blow it out of proportion or distort the facts. I was cross examined for about 6 hours, and I ate that attorney for breakfast. It really helped me when I could say, " We already discussed this during my direct examination. Your question was asked and answered already." It left the opposing attorney with almost nowhere to go.

It’s kinda like blackmail. If you fess up to what you did they lose all their power. there may be consequences but never as bad as what would happen if you kept lying to cover it up.

This is excellent advice. It reminds me of the movie " 8 mile" during a rap battle where Eminem does this, he states everything he knew the other guy would say bad about him and aired it all out. when it was the other guys turn, he froze , dropped the mic and walked out. Even tho just a movie it works in real life. And, I will use this tactic w my narcissistic ex in my custody battle.

My attorney said to diffuse the 3 year old lying domestic violence issues and throwing out dismissed protective orders was to agree to 6 supervised visits and anger management. Classes. He brought zero up about her due and recent release from probation. He said that my agreeing would diffuse her argument. Now, she is making up more allegations after agreement to 6 visits and unsupervised ones. Is this correct? I feel like my lawyer isn't fighting that hard 4 me but believing all her attorney alleges

You talk about DUI- what if my narc ex got a DUI with the kid in the back AFTER they assaulted myself and our younger child. Polce, Child Services recommendations and he has not followed through on any recommendations. He plead not guilty, trial is in 2023 but he's told everyone it was my fault (that I put the child in the car and forced him to drive then called 911-which is deplorable). Do judges see these as big red flags for children in the cuttody case even if they charm them and bring it up? A DUI seems pretty big when there is a kid in the back right?

Judge Anthony, the underlying assumption here is that the Family Court actually looks at ‘Evidence’ - I am in the South and going through a nasty divorce and custody battle with a man who absolutely doesn’t deserve to be given any custody - he abandoned the children for years, wiped out the bank account, and left his family destitute - but the judges don’t care - one look at the color of his skin (white) and they are suddenly willing to sweep everything he did under the rug like it didn’t even happen or didn’t even matter. It’s suddenly all ‘kosher’ now.

Actually , more white men are discriminated against than any other race in this country… actually, women get custody of the child bc of her gender more often than not…. Actually, ya sound racist. But hey, may God bless your children.

If you are a parent who use to yell a lot when they got angry. Would that be something you would recommend bringing up to take the sting out of it?
@judgeanthony4 жыл бұрын
Great question, but no it would be more like a criminal record, past drug or alcohol issues, past mental health issues, etc. But, if there's some specific incident that occurred that you know they will try to hammer you with, then you can always try to bring it up to minimize the effect.

Hi. This is Alice Wingo. I am from WA What should I do my ex already abandoned our common child within a full year? I filled Parenting Plan Modification on the court but they doesn't commit the fact of ABANDONEDMENT, then went to mediation and failed, I don't know what the next step I should take? The ex & his attorney acted very arrogant and now they asking for jump back my 14 year old daughter life again, the reality is the kid refused to go to his mess & dirt place or meet him. It's very stressful situation right now and i had to represent by myself. I am looking forward to hearing from you

Curious, the particular Judge is NOT allowing me to present ANY exhibits. I was PRO SE for the past 2 years, with ZERO progress, the Judge is extremely BIAS AGAIINST me. Presentation PERIOD is AN ISSUE.
@MrProfessional7779 ай бұрын
File an appeal. That's where you'll find your remedy. Also, File a complaint with the Commission of Judicial Conduct and follow through with it. Biggest issue there is that the judge is violating you inviolable Constitutional right to fair proceedings, your right be heard and due process.
