nice work playa. I've recently softened my swing on my irons to gain accuracy, it means I have to club up most of the time until I feel confident in swinging harder, but it's working. Constantly shooting 88-91 now. Time to hit the range for the short game and practice everything under 100.

ha ha ha ha, great vlog. love the little bits, voice overs and music. regards putting played a course where the greens were 16 on the stimp and mate I played with kept asking me about how many holes/balls do I aim ( 2 balls left or right of the hole). I said I aim for the bottom of the hole...…. seriously I aimed for the run, which way the ball is going to run. mind you some courses I've played you need to look from your putt and behind it to see which way the putt goes.

So are you using the same backswing for each put and just changing your acceleration for distance?
@GolfSidekick6 жыл бұрын
PHILLIP WHITMORE I take it further back on the backswing the further i go from the hole and making sure I follow through longer too. No more short slappy back stroke because then i need to force the acceleration with a tight grip and I lose all feel and distance control. Long fluid back stroke and nice smooth acceleration to follow through like the same distance past rhe ball as my back swing. Also a light grip on the club and rock the shoulders back and forth and take the slap motion with my hands out the equation

I noticed you have a bit of a baby draw on your irons but a fade for your driver/woods do you know why because I have a bit of that issue as well
@GolfSidekick6 жыл бұрын
Karl Villanueva I dont call it an issue. I just jam. Because I like to hit a fade off the tee I dont wanna change it. The main reason for the driver shaping like that is because I just merely think of a fade. I merely think of a draw when I hit a 3 or 5 iron. That is the only reason. I will do a video on super simple shot shaping one day in the next couple months but I think first step is dont see it as an issue especially if you are playinf fine with two ball shapes

@marnixsimon12156 жыл бұрын
You are talking about the grain, is that typical for asian greens? Don't really understand what it is...
@GolfSidekick6 жыл бұрын
Marnix Simon Yeah its usually used in tropical or very hot climates. Bent grass would die very quickly if they used t I think florida and arizona use it and also Durban south africa, mainly warm and humid places. The grain makes the ball break more or less on a slope depending which way its growing. Into you and its twice as slow. With you its twice as fast. And increases break exponentially as the ball dies. The grain direction takes the ball like a surfer on a wave.

Sometimes I can when the swing is loose and I am not too stiff. Its not out of the realms of possibility since my swing speed is 112mph. But I have a downward strike on the ball lately whereas beginning of 2018 I was hitting up 1 degree. Those were going 320+. Driving 340 yard greens with my Volvik Vivids! It isnt that difficult to hit over 300 if the swing is 110mph+ but my body needs to be loose without knots in my back and with a very relaxed forearms and shoulders and wrists so I can commit more.

How is carnivore diet going?
@GolfSidekick6 жыл бұрын
It was going well then went to Malaysia to see family. Not so well there with all the dim sum, delicious toast with kaya jam and other stuff. Family is very far from my way of thinking relating to diet. Bad reaction to all the grain/wheat/gluten/fibrous stuff and my stomach issue returned - hard and bloated on the left side again and toothpaste poo.. Back on the wagon again since Wednesday and feeling good, teflon coated poo again. I have been lagging behind getting in enough chow though. I get stuck-in to the liver which is so filling and then neglect to drink my eggs and eat my butter sticks for fat. Will need to ramp it up. I notice however that blueberries and mango don't give me stomach issues so eat that every now and then too. I've cut out the milk they sell here. It's mainly milk powder and adds no value to life. Will be trying some raw milk when I am in South Africa again. New favorite dish is pig heart with bacon. What a delight.
