Today I live a typical day in the life of a 9 to 5 office job. I know having a sedentary job make staying in shape extremely difficult. In this video I show you all how I would approach my day from my morning routine to my top tips to accumulate steps and burn calories during the day!
Also, I show how I would set up my nutrition and share with you some great meal prep breakfast ideas an a super easy 10 minute dinner meal.
Hope you enjoy the video! Thank you for watching!
Protein Coffee Muffin Recipe:
- 100g Almond Flour
- 1 Scoop Protein
- 1tsp Baking Powder
- 60g Non fat Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/4 cup Milk of choice
- 1 Egg
- 2tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Shot Brewed Coffee
- 1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup
* Combine all ingredients and bake for around 15 minutes @ 355 degrees.
Chicken Cabbage Stir Fry:
- Chicken Breast
- 2 Stalks of Green Onion
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 0.5inch Piece of Ginger
- 300-400g Thinly sliced Cabbage
- 2tbs soy sauce
- 2tbs water
- 1/4 cup diced pineapple
- 0.5tsp chili flakes
*Dice the green onion and add only the white part to your pan and begin to sautee.
* Finely dice your ginger and garlic then add to the pan with your green onion and let cook down for a few minutes
* Thinly slice cabbage and add to your pan and sautee for about 5 minutes
* Add your water and soy sauce to let cabbage cook all the way through
* Dice your chicken into small pieces and season with salt and pepper.
* Add chicken to the pan and let cook through.
* Once chicken is just about cooked, add in your pineapple, chili flakes and remaining green onion.
* Sesame seeds and sesame oil are great additions to the dish if you have extra calories!

This video emulates an entry level job at a super chill location. Most places don’t have hour long lunches and casual time lines. Expectations are much higher and the demand is more serious especially depending on the job. While Will touched on some great points and ideas, the video shows his inexperience in an office job setting.

@Sabrina-qf5xf
@Sabrina-qf5xf Жыл бұрын
Set an alarm and do it every day - including weekends. After some adjustment you’ll start waking up earlier naturally. It’s the adjustment period that is challenging. Also important you don’t sleep later on the weekend as this throws off your circadian rhythm (internal clock). Finally, make sure you are actually going to bed early enough to wake up earlier.

Comments like this with a whiny victim mentality are trash. In the end, everyone has choice over how they live their life. @@malcolmalden true but of course every little helps. You have to change your mindset from well it’s not possible to what is possible. Now that might not be 8k a day or whatever but it will be more then not trying. And it all adds up. I used to be obese in my 20s. No one can tell that I haven’t always been slim. I’m slim because it all adds up. The extra step. Taking the stairs to work. Eating healthier at lunch (not healthy but just healthier - my diet isn’t great). And you’ll see the results.

Lol I used to live in St Paul and worked in Minneapolis-literally takes over an hour to drive in rush hour traffic 😂 Public transport for the win here. I’m sure there are outliers that throw off the average tho. I moved last year to a building next door to my office so there’s basically no commute now.

@@Shadezman76 personally I prefer going to the office. Others do not. I find I am more productive there than at home. Unlike half of the comments here, I love my job. What I don't like is the traffic driving to and from work. (That eats a lot of time.) Meeting are done in front of a computer. (I would prefer to walk around, but the meetings consist of reference material.) After the drive to and from work, there is the drive to the gym. (Not all of us have a gym at home.) And I still take a high stim at 7pm.
