HOW TO TURN 4c HAIR INTO CURLY HAIR

I'm a curly girl with type 4c hair. It has tiny waves and spirals. We have made this cotton hair type something it is not. 4c hair is not the worst. It is actually very easy to care for. I don't wish to change it into 3c hair, because it appears more silky or it will have bigger visible curls. This video is for everyone that wants to start showing their 4c hair out in public. Every day. Just as the main hair style free from wigs, extensions, braids and twists.
This hair type is highly curly and forms spirals like telephone cord cables or the Invisibobble bands. I've been defining my hair since 2015 and feel like I'm finally being comfortable with myself. I don't feel the urge to stretch my hair to show the public my true length. Wash and gos have become my main hairstyle and I'm truly enjoying to wash my hair twice a week.

I'm on my quest to define my 4c hair into its clumped curly stage since 2010 when I did my first big chop. It took me 5 years with a second big chop to finally get the hang out of it. Our type 4 hair is definitely curly/wavy and the Andrew Walker Hair System has definitely done more harm than good with the mind set of black people around the world. There should only be 3 hair categories: Straight, Wavy, Curly with all its variations from loose to very tight and tiny cluster of hair strands. Wash and Gos or Natural Curl Defining Styles have become my main hair style since 2021 again and I absolutely don't feel the urge to do a different hairstyle, unless it's a special occasion and I wish to look different. Stop clinging on these water glass methods to find out about your hair's porosity. It's not accurate and won't help you with your hair. To be honest, if your hair isn’t damaged, just cleanse your hair more often and clarify it. Condition and Style as usual. The products will hold on to your hair better. Lemma Labs provide at home hair porosity kits that you can easily do at home. Your hair strands will be tested in a science lab. This is 💯 % more accurate than any video or hairstylist's eyes.

What heat settings did u have your blow dryer on? ty:)

High heat and high air pressure. That’s why my hand is so far away. When I hold the blow dryer closer to my hair, I use low to medium heat and high air pressure. When it’s completely dry I use cold air or low heat to fluff my my roots out, so that my entire hair can flow and move. ☺️

What do you use to define your hair?

I use plant based/botanical gel instead of cream based leave-in conditioners. Then I use a stronger gel on top. Watch my 2 latest videos about Botanical Gels and Secret To Long Lasting Hold and you’ll have a better idea. But it’s not only the products, I wash & clarify my hair regularly and always define my hair when it’s clean and soaking wet. Until the next hair wash I don’t apply products or moisture my hair to prevent as much buildup as possible. Hope it helps. If you can look out for hair stylists who are curl experts🥰
