How many times do you shampoo your hair on wash day? Once, twice or thrice? Do you shampoo the length of your hair or just the roots and scalp?The way I water rinse and shampoo my hair hasn't changed, but I always wanted to split my videos up to talk more in depth the way I do my hair in each step. My main focus is massaging my scalp to lift the dirts & sweats and smoothing my hair to keep it stretched and tangle free here.

Here’s the follow up video of my hair detangling session. Rinsing & Cleansing my hair with cleansers doesn’t take me longer 10-15 minutes if I’m very slow. What eats the most time away is the detangling step. After the cleanse while I use my fingers only to condition my hair, I cleanse my body while letting the conditioner sit & rinse, if I don’t deep condition. In the past I’ve used a couple of clarifying shampoos and Olaplex No. 4c was my first’ clarifying shampoo with chelating ingredients I ever used in 2022. Now that I do have many comparisons & evaluate my hair journey: If I could choose, I would always favour a clay detox mask over more surfactants to clarify & chelate my hair. 🙌🏾

I wash my hair bent over a sink. I usually keep my hair stretched in the direction in which it hangs while shampooing to minimize tangles. Thanks for sharing your routine.
