Thank you Dr. Pal. I am 62 years old , and have been on IF for three months and I have lost 7 kgs. Your “lighthearted presentation”- in a serious way, is very motivating. Having successfully been on IF, you are able to give suggest ways , to overcome hunger, for me in my IF journey. I sleep better, am more alert and feel good giving my body the rest that I should have been giving, long time ago. I am particularly amazed by the circadian rhythm. Something I wish science/ biology books teach our children, at a young age. Thank you. I will continue on this journey and want very much to make this my lifestyle.

As I started I became health conscious in choosing what I eat and healthy alternatives. In process I gained lot of nutrition knowledge. With combo of fasting and nutrition have almost reversed BP and totally shrunk thyroid nodules. I am now successful from 18 hr to 20 hr in OMAD…I have several tips to share what I start my day to drink and what I eat which could benefit the globe…I wish To pair with u in your shows to inspire people or atleast have talk with you ..not sure how to connect with you…am able to bring abt chg in my friends whom I have shared but now like to spread to masses through you 🙏🏻

Hii Dr. Pal. Thank u for ur videos. I m suffering from auto immune disease from past 5 months and under medications. I was literally worried as I could not do my basic routine having two small kids. Now I have started to see ur videos and started with intermittent fasting just before a week initially of 14-15hours and now I m fasting for more than 48 hrs to achieve the fasting of at least 72 hrs. I just took 4 serving of black coffee without sugar and milk for the 48 hrs. It is helping me to extend my fast. Thank u very much sir. Ur videos are very very helpful.

Hey Dr.Pal🙏🏻 I’m a massive fan of your work. Kudos. My eating window starts 30mins post sunrise & ends 30-45mins prior to sunset. And I live in “Toronto”, which would explain how tight my eating regime is!!! (It’s like a very stringent 6hr eating window). Yet I’m super comfortable in this space. Certainly a cup of aromatic Tim Hortons black coffee in the mornings works wonders in managing hunger. Since I wake up 5am everyday, my tactics to staying sane till sunrise is to divide 1 cup of coffee into 2 parts. And I sail through those 3.5hrs in the morning like a boat in the calmest of seas. 1cup black tea/coffee followed by bitter gourd juice with turmeric/ ginger lemon water/apple cider vinegar with glass of water etc are great options to diffuse hunger pangs and extend fasting window.

great tips! Initially the protein premier 30g of protein drink at the end of the day (at around 5 or 6 pm latest) kept me thru' the evening to the next morning till 8 am. Once I realized that its not hunger but just a conditional response like you pointed out, I can get by with any non-caffeine herbal tea or simply boiled water with cumin and fenugreek seeds.

Doctor, I am originally from Kerala and currently work as a chef in Canada. I am a huge fan of yours. I've been intermittent fasting for two months. But the difficulty is that I only work at night, so I ate my first meal at 4 p.m. and my second meal at 10 p.m.I need your assistance with this; will my health suffer as a result? I look forward to hearing from you.

IF deals with the amount of fasting window rather than which time u eat but in general it is better that u finish of ur dinner before sunset so that ur blood glucose levels are not elevated

I’m doing 16:8 so far from last 15 days! Even I can do more but more than stomach my tongue won’t wait for more time! Still I’m managing average of 17hr 30min fasting window so far! I’m a coffee addict but 1st 3 days I reduced size of coffee cup with jaggery instead of sugar and now no coffee or tea from last one week! I’m having direct lunch at 1 and dinner at 5 to 6pm that’s it Thank you Dr. Pal I really appreciate your efforts to maintain our good gut bacteria’s ❤

Dr.Pal, 9-10 hour fasting works for me as well. 7 and 7:30 is just 30 minutes but i am only able to manage 07:30pm most of the time 😂. Felt happy you have the same situation 😂

Hello Dr. Pal.. saw your podcost with beer biceps and and now im hooked to your channel.. thank you for the information. I usually do a 14-16 hour fasting depending on how i feel.. and i break my fast with a tea spoon of coconut oil in my decaf green bean coffee. No creamer or sugar. Is that okay to do?

Started IF recently like a month ago. But unknowingly I’m doing the same suggested by Dr.Pal. Green Tea is the first meal around 10-11 ish in the morning, thus my lunch goes to around 12:30. By night 8 my dinner is served, I’m at a hostel and can’t help. Unknowingly I’m doing a 16-17 hour IF, and I don’t feel a thing. Yeah weight loss was a side effect, and I’ve been working out too. Important thing to consider is to take all the macro and micro nutrients within the time period and not to get devoid of them as the time is strict. Good luck y’all… All the power to you ❤

I try to stick to 11a-8p eating window on most days. Holiday parties a bit tough, though. I drink green matcha tea to curb the hunger during the stimulant window that is from 1-2 hrs post waking up till 4 pm. Then have lemon tea or something.

Greatly inspired by your videos, Sir! I started intermittent fasting recently. I am using some millets in my diet. I'm a hypothyroid patient. I'm confused about millets as I came across some articles and videos stating that millets are not good for such patients. Could you please clarify?

Intermittent fasting has helped me a lot. I do 8pm to 1:30pm next day fast. Then start with fresh juice or fruit..only one. Then salads or roasted veg most days in lunch. I like to have coffee in afternoon with a tablespoon of snack like chivda. Then dinner is usual indian but I m ableto control portions n feel full for longer. I drink about 2.5 lies water, daily walk, yoga etc
