Nestor Alexander Haddaway(born 9 January 1965) is a Trinidadian-born German vocalist and musician best known for his 1993 hit single "What Is Love", which reached number 1 in 13 countries. This is the ultimate 90s dance song in Germany, still today. It was beyond huge, on every 90s playlist over here.

One more fact, Haddaway's mother is from the United States, although she is Trinidadian, she has ties to the US and Germany through her parents.

Typical Eurodance track. Europe was full of those in the 90s. This one just gets you up & moving. As someone being from a European country, this song still gets played sometimes in clubs and literally everyone starts dancing, even tho it's not from my generation. If you haven't seen it yet, i recommend Mr.Vain by Culture beat. My all time favorite Eurodance song and probably the most popular one too.

Ahhhhh 90s techno.....lol I frequented too many clubs and danced to too many of these songs.😂😂😂 Great memories. So yeah the genre was dance/techno and it reigned at the top or near there through the 90s

90s Eurodance and Haddaway was huge at this part, no party, no disco without guys like Haddaway, Dr. Alban, Snap or Two unlimited. Haddaway is original from Trinidad and Tobago, but lived at this time in Austria

In the 80' and 90' where really some cool songs. Check out "fiction factory" with "feels like heaven" or "ice house" with "hey little girl", such wonderful precous songs.

This ways an excellent workout tune in aerobics. I can still recall the steps, alas i can no longer keep up and remain in time. Oh man, do i miss my youth, which i abused terribly, but boy do those memories keep me smiling and warm in these god awful days. Thank you, that was fun. God bless.

This is just one of many floor bangers from the 90's. Mainly classed as Eurodance techno music. Culture beat with Mr Vain, 2 unlimited No Limits etc awesome techno tunes that 30yrs later still played at weddings, outdoor events etc awesome. I miss the 90's the music from that era gives me the best memories. Keep the posts coming love your reactions 🍀👍😁
