Reuploaded to add a disclaimer on safety, and to include a bit on the miniature version of the print. Not my most useful print but still pretty fun. Thanks again to Revopoint for providing the scanner.

Hey, there are some missing parts on Printables - mainly a joint between the biceps/forearrm and the back grill. Do you mind adding those on there?

Just fyi, always make magnet holes a bit deeper than you want them. In the best case scenario once everything is assembled the magnets should just barely have a gap.. like less than a sheet of paper. This stops the magnets from snapping together and breaking each other when you stick the parts together. Neodymium can be very brittle and it sucks having a magnet shatter and then you have sharp shards sticking out and you need dig the rest of the magnet out, clean the glue, and try again. So just make the holes a bit deeper. That way the magnets sit just a tad below flush and never actually touch. Deeper is always better because you can always easily shim up, with a little slip of paper, or whatever… but drilling out deeper… as you discovered is a pain in the balls. So always er on the side of too deep if you’re not sure. You can always fill any gap with glue or shims and learn to be more accurate next time.

3:35 Note: heat it up with a hairdryer instead and they'll be easier to pop out with another magnet. The coefficient of thermal expansion is very different between plastics and neodymium, and it doesn't lose its magnetic properties until a much higher temperature.

if you prints it in pla just puts clip-part of ball joint in hot water about 5 sec, then connect it back and squeeze by hands as its hot. it will improve sterdyness of join.

really like the crt monitor you use, do you put anything else on there normally or just the 3d scanning software output?
