Beautiful case. I used to disregard the Aqua Terra, but the more I look at this the more it grows on me. I love the regular Seamaster but the helium escape valve disqualifies it for me so then I started looking at this piece. I feel this is like the Omega version of the Rolex Explorer style watches. Classy timepiece and well done video.

Great watch! I had the 41.5mm for a while, but traded it for the 38.5mm. I think your fiancé made the best choice! The 41.5mm is great-looking, but the 38.5mm works much better for those occasions when a suit is required. At the same time, the 150m depth rating and the >15,000 gauss anti-magnetic movement makes the AT possibly the most rugged watch that will also dress up well. If I were forced to move to one watch only, the AT 150 38.5mm would be it.

I'm thinking about brushing the centre links myself, as the scratches are driving me nuts. Its a funny little watch, can't quite decide if it wants to be a sports watch or a dress watch. More sporty than a Date-Just, but not as dressy. Probably the second best value watch in the Omega library, after the the Speedmaster.

Congratulations :) That's pretty damn awesome of your fiancee to gift you an AT as an engagement present. My wife to be (we get married in just over 4 weeks) Bought me an amazing vintage Bulova tank style watch from the late 40's to wear on our wedd ng day. All serviced and warrantied from a local watchmaker. I had sent her some pictures when I was in last week trying on watches and unknown to me she popped over and bought it for me as an early birthday gift (birthday is the 21st of this month) Suffice to say it'll make this watch all the more special. Again congrats on both the future wife and the watch. I'd imagine the AT would look amazing with a Navy blue suit just throwing that out there.
