I hunted 2 boxes full of shineys and only ever saved when I was going to quit for the day. Pretty dumb in terms of not being careful, but it just never crossed my mind because Its pretty easy to not let them get away if you are aware of their temperment in this game.

So, I am colorblind but I love Pokémon and I am a shiny hunter. It is really hard for me to tell how some shinies differ from the normal ones. I love how this games has the sound of a shiny, overworld shinies, and lowered shiny odds with mass outbreaks. I am also extremely jealous of that skorupi because I have been hunting him for about 2-3 weeks and nothing! I love the content!

2:45 one time a Samurott jumped from a cliff down to the very bottom of the icelands and when I looked over the edge it was just gone. It only took me a couple of seconds to get to the edge and I still couldn’t find it in a pretty open, mostly snowy area where it should’ve stuck out immediately. I gave up and fast traveled back to the closest spot assuming it had been banished to the shadow realm or phased into the upside down by falling out of reach of my character. It came back, so yeah.

I got pretty lucky on my Latias, I think it was like 2-3 full days of resetting... and I always like to name my Pokemon names of characters or things I like so my suggestion is think of your favorite shows or games and pick one that Latios would fit well with :D

Unfortunately I lost it (because of the empty battery of the Game Boy cartridge 😭)... I can't even tell how sad I was...
