You most certainly are blessed and extremely fortunate, to be 'accepted' and treated with such genuinity, by members of the Swedish community. I've quietly missed both Jack and yourself, but it's being a pleasant treat to finally hear your lovely voice, and to behold the wonderful wintery landscape of Sweden through Jack's lens..

When you eventually go back to London, you are gonna miss Sweden so much. I came over for one year in 2001. I am still here 20 years later. People ask if I will ever move back to the UK ? I would say never. I love the UK, but the Swedish way of living and the calm way of living here so much more matches my personality. I have met my best friends here and when you break through the shyness in the Swedish personality, you will meet the most loyal and best people you will ever meet.

It is useful to remember that Sweden has always been a country of different smaller tribes or groups. People have their Swedish identity but also some other ethnicities depending from which part or the country they are from or perhaps immigration backgrounds. Homogeneous Swedish population isn't true and has never been true.

@@just42tube Why is it good to know? Do you think anyone is surprised? It is the same in all countries. You joined in 2007 and have been negative ever since. You are a person who only comments. You have not uploaded a second of a video on KZbin. But writing a little negative around KZbin is something you are an expert on.

@@KjellEson It is relevant information, if you really want to understand the structure and dynamics of the population in a country. Stereotypical simplicity is often misleading. If you somehow misunderstand my comments and find only negativity, that is more your problem. I try to give helpful comments, but obviously they are not always received as such by everyone.

Totally different from each other and Sweden with the future intention of moving to Australia! Living between Sri Lanka and Australia. Thank you for your videos missed you.

Awww, it's nice to see you back on here Naomi, Jack & of course Lola! Thanks for encouragement of moving to Sweden, that's my dream is to get a holiday cottage to take breaks from the Wirral/Chester area we're living in. We fell in love with Sweden when we've visited, it's seems allot mellower and calm in the people & culture and I loved getting back to nature. It remindes me of my childhood in Northern California, everyday out in the woods, creeks and lakes; just being free to roam and doing all kinds of things & all the aspects of living the rural life. Keep up the good work you two, keep up the adventures and most of all keep being happy, and Happy Easter to you and your familes. x

Lola has grown, hasn't she. Your comments about community are so good advice. In my own country and on KZbin I see immigrants who kind of get stuck to their foreigner status and the differences to their native culture. Their integration gets difficult, since their primary identity seem to prevent becoming members in different country. Some very obviously carry old conflicts with them. They see racist behavior in everything, and don't want to understand that there could be more likely other reasons for not getting jobs. That is the start of the road to different ethnic groups having difficult relationships, mistrust, discrimination etc. Sweden has some of that at least in southern parts. Language is a key part of understanding any culture. Swedish and English are members of the same language family, which should help learning.

It would be so cool to see more fishing and catching your own dinner! Respectful fishing is not a bad thing. It is something (as you said in this video) we have detached from our food source so much that we rather eat processed food than catching a fish or shoot some game) - not for just fun but for providing food. Be nice for anything alive as long as they are alive but also be thankful for good healthy meat and fish etc. It is nature like wolves kill and eat and bears kill and eat... not for fun but just to have healthy food and only just enough to survive.

My mom would never go fishing or gut the fish. I had to do it (my grandpa taught me how). Only after I got rid of the guts and head would she even cook it. And she was a nurse! I’m pescatarian partially for the reasons you mention. The result of many of the bad farm practices means I can’t digest the meat of those animals (whatever they’re being fed, however they’re being stressed-my body can’t digest that). “April weather” sounds a lot like Seattle (except from mid-July through August, when we get more reliable sun). The hoodie trend started here for a reason, lol.
