Great video thank you. My Dr started me on .05ml (100mg) Ethanthate every two weeks for three months then redo blood work. So it sounds like maybe he got it right in your opinion?

I’m glad I found your channel because you have the best information on yt. I’m taking 150 mg a week of the TRT cream daily and my hematocrit shot up to 57 in my RBCs up to 18.7. Donated blood yesterday I was told I could take a baby aspirin or lower the dose which would you do?

There needs to be consensus. Every Dr I listen to says something different. I believe microdosing is that consensus. Cannot get my doctor to come off 200mgs every two weeks, because my trough levels are in the 400's. I'm my best self for 6 days, and it goes downhill thereafter. It gets bad. I'm so frustrated.

Being a former bodybuilder does not exclude you from accessing proper medical care. h/o AAS use is a well recognised cause of functional hypogonadism.

The 40mg example should be looked at as a laughable outlier. 40mg with the standard hcg protocol for MOST people, would have literally no benefit whatsoever. Unless this person were literally a Unic, which would make hcg useless anyways, this guys levels would be sub normal range and he would most likely be struggling with horrifically low testosterone, have no sex drive, and feel like total crap, in most cases. I would love to see the blood tests of this person. I get the idea of promoting “less is better” but this actually makes me question the competence of this guy.

Michael O'Brien you are incorrect, I have a growing number of young guys in their 20s who don’t need much testosterone. I have had to titrate their levels down to just below the upper limit of normal from supra physiological levels. They have preserved testicular function through use of HCG, we are essentially topping up with testosterone.

Well that’s interesting to say the least. These young men must be responding to hcg in a way that I have never seen. You would think that adding such an ineffective dose of testosterone would negate the benefits of the hcg in the first place since hcg in general tends to keep guys around baseline or slightly below while on exogenous test. I personally am on a dose many many times 40mg with an hcg protocol and am kept in the high end of the range. This seems to be the case with a majority of guys I talk to so I guess we are not nearly as lucky as these young men.

Michael O'Brien agreed, they have a secondary hypogonadism, because they are young, their testes are usually pretty healthy, so the HCG has a really positive effect on intratesticular production of testosterone. Believe me, these guys are titrated down with these crazy low testosterone doses!

To sum up what he’s saying..if you take a truly hypogonadal man who has a total test of 200-300, the most optimal thing to do is give him a trt protocol that brings him up in the reference range to like 800-900, the whole trt craze that’s going on guys are using TRT as an excuse to be in 1500-2000 total test just because they can. It’s not natural and long term can cause problems, some guys more then others
