When we say men are more rational, women more emotional. Who would like to live in a world thats just dry rational without feelings or purely based on feelings without stability that we can cling to? Its good the way we are made and instead fighting the other gender we should appreciate that we are not only different, but every person is unique. The day you woke up this morning is unique and will never come back. Treat your life and others like a wonder. You dont know if youre here tomorrow

Notice whenever you hear a man talk he always tries to say the data implying that women are oppressed and men are the problem is wrong! The fact that 97% of women will be s3xualized before age 19, the fact that 99% of s3x offenders are male, and the fact that 99% of s3x trafficking victims are female! Not to mention the chance of getting s3xually assaulted for women is one in five… So is it really us that ignore logic, statistics, data and reason? @@gachagameralice7587 Alice, thank you for your comment. If you are truly virtuous, instead of being a feminist why don't you try being a humanist? That believes in equal rights for all human beings? Not just the rights for one type of human being (women). Do you realise how sexist that is? Trying to end sexism by creating even more sexism? Do you now see the problem with feminism and why it is morally and ethically wrong? When a feminist says she wants equal rights? What's she is actually saying is she wants women to have special treatment and preferential treatment over men because she thinks women are superior and men are inferior. Are you aware of how immoral and narcissistic that is? I question the legitimacy of those statistics you just quoted. I agree that what happens to young girls is disgusting and evil. But at the same time what happens to boys and men is equally disgusting and evil. 80% of all suicides every year are men. 8 out of ten children that are victims of pedophiles are young boys not girls. 100% of workplace deaths are men because men are the ones in our society that have to do all the dangerous & deadly jobs, not women. Since the dawn of time when war breaks out, it's men that get marched off in our millions to faraway lands to die agonising and brutal deaths, not women. That's why your statements are sexist Alice because you only care about one gender instead of both genders. You only care about your tribe instead of all tribes. You only care about some human beings instead of all human beings! Why are women more important than men? Alice, yes there are evil men out there that do disgusting and evil things. That's why we must try and stop them. But at the same time, for every evil man out there, there is also one evil woman too. Evil isn't a man problem or a women problem, it's a human problem. And for every one evil man out there, there are 10,000 men who are good. Why is it that people only want to talk about evil men, but ignore and never want to talk about all the good men? Why do feminists always talk about toxic masculinity but never point out and want to talk about positive masculinity? Could it be because they have an agenda?

No it is about responsibility. If you bear the final responsibility for something, you have to take things seriously and prevent others from bringing about unwelcome consequences. So, if there is no one else you can call on in a situation it changes your attitudes and actions. If a woman is walking down a street at night and is approached by a threatening person. What does she do? She calls for help? Why? Because she expects others (men) to come to her aid. What if she knows that no men are going to put their lives at risk to help her? Then her attitude will have to shift, she will have to learn to be able to defend herself or avoid putting herself in that situation. Either way being the responsible party means you can no longer just have a carefree stroll down that road. Another example, if in history you let women own property, then women will have to defend that property from violent people who want to take it from her. Are the women going to do that? If she tries to defend it then will she accept the risk to her life that this action implies. Or will she expect someone else to defend it for her? Is a man going to risk his life to defend property he gets no benefit from? If she can keep her property then at some point, some women will go into debt and be unable to pay that debt. Then she will be sent to debtors prison. Where she will be responsible for feeding herself, protecting herself etc. No one else is going to do it for her! What is she going to do when the guards or other violent inmates in that prison attempt to gang rape her? Again and again and again. What are the consequences for the rest of her life once the debt is paid (if ever) and she is released? What family will want their son to marry a woman who has been through that experience? That has sustained that level of physical and psychological damage. How can you protect your daughter from such an outcome? By perhaps banning her from owning property? That was the solution the Patriarchy imposed to avoid this outcome. But women don't see the bad outcome they were protected from experiencing! All through history women have expected men to take on the dangerous, dirty, unpleasant part of existance. SHeltering those women from much of the risk in life. I think women will increasingly have to learn to accept the responsibility that goes with freedoms.

The irony is that the scene in the boardroom is exactly how women talk when they're talking about a hot guy. Women are no less capable of sexually objectifying the opposite sex as men. Probably even moreso, in my experience with three older sisters and having had tons of female friends in my life

So basically, what you're saying is there shouldn't be dominance for either sex, only equality. I can get behind that ^^ In Norway, we're pretty much equal. I've lived 19 years as a girl, never once feeling unfairly treated. No one is missing out because of this, and society benefits greatly. The Norwegian women are a considerable workforce, and the Norwegian men have the chance to work less than they would if they were the sole providers for the family. Equality is aight c:

Going through the comment section like: WAT!?! I dont consider myself a feminist, I dont consider myself someone against feminism. I consider myself a person who treats others with compassion. Men face incredibly challenges that women dont, just look at the numbers. Also women face challenges men dont. Can we please stop talking about gender that much? It doesnt matter if its a woman or a man to be assaulted, people do get assaulted, lets change that. People do commit suicide, lets change that. People are talked down upon, lets change that! Just as with racism, LBTQ+ and so on. Stop holding on to your labels! Be whoever you want to be and let others be whoever they want to be, treating each other with respect and kindness no matter their lifes choices.

A lot of this is just one gender trying to one-up the other. But backwards. Feminist: Women get catcalled on the street! Man: False accusations without evidence, stress about them as well. Feminist: Wage gap! Man: Conscription. Feminist: Body image issues! Man: Men are 3x more likely to commit suicide. Feminist: Women are oppressed! Man: People don't care about men. Women and children are always rescued first, men make up 93% of workplace deaths, and did you even know that April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month? Probably not, but everybody is aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Women are 30% more likely to be hired given same qualifications...

Just based on this comment and you’re profile pic alone, I can tell the exact type of person you are. I’m a boy and even I know that’s not fair. People In power should be the most qualified and the most stable candidate no matter their race, gender, ethnicity, or religion (as long as that religion isn’t a dangerous extremist religion) this also means you can’t vote for them just because you want her to be the first female president, or just want to have a second black president.

@moikanos11
@moikanos11 8 жыл бұрын
+Diaberu monk No. It's showing the fact that it's not really the "patriarchy's" fault for the issues and gender imbalance that exists, but rather a general outlook we have on the world that has been formed through millenia of men being the stronger gender (hunting, working, etc) whereas women never carried strong roles until now. The video highlights the fact that if those roles were opposite, things would suck just as bad as they do now, the only difference is instead of "patriarchy" there would be "matriarchy". Women would do the same things men do, because the root of the issue is not our gender, but how we see things.

Honestly if working hard was the only criteria we’d all be working 100+ hour weeks trying to get that next promotion. There are a lot of factors that go into whether someone is fit for the next level of responsibilities. A lot of times companies will promote the best person on a team to manager level only to find out Skill at knowing how to do a job is not the same as skill at training others, or motivating others, or reading others. Either it goes to their head and their team becomes demotivated, or the new manager ends up doing all the work and not delegating. The ability to relate to, read, and motivate others while still managing your superiors and taking care of your own advancement and ensuring you don’t get stabbed in the back in the process is an art and not everyone can do it.
