I am almost 60 and I can do a planche but not as well as I used to. The hardest part was realising that my centre of gravity must be directly above my wrists. Then of course I also suffer from peripheral neuropathy so getting to the planche stage in my old age was very difficult. I was very good at gymnastics when I was younger and could easily do everything. Look after your bodies, young men!

@@aggelosyt5857 I agree I have been doing calisthenics for over 1 year and I didn’t start training the planche until 6 months into my calisthenics journey and it it really hard and along my journey to master the planche I had a lot of pain in my wrists and my shoulders and I had to look back and work on mastering the basics and I recently started training it again a few days ago and I have noticed a lot of progress with my planche training the only thing I need to work on is my straight arm strength because my arms are not fully locked out but I know that if I keep working on it I will see massive progress in my planche training and other skills as well congratulations on training the planche you will get there just keep grinding 💪💪💪👍👍👍💯💯💯!

I started with literally " Wiping the wall" to strengthen my shoulder and my mobility. Then move on to wall push up -> Knee push up, full push up-> different hand variation push up -> elevated push up -> clapping/explosive push up -> tuck planche -> advanced tuck. Now I can only do about 2 seconds hold for advance tuck. This video has kept me motivated, you help me start my workout.
