Of the several videos on Surya Namaskar I have seen, this one best explains how to get the postures right (and how not to do it). Very close to how I learned it from my teacher more than 20 plus years back. I cannot emphasize enough getting each of these postures right ; injury is highly likely if you do it the wrong way and for an extended period. Surprising this video does not have as many views as some of the other videos on this topic.

Yoga itself means dhyana...ur dhyana seems to be on the girl's dress code( nothing wrong with it) instead of yoga..if u focus on guru's words and look at her muscle movement...it will increase your alignment knowlegde...small things matter

Your demonstration is absolutely wonderful Sir. And let me share my personal experience in this context; I was a very disciplined boy when I was in school; used to wake up early and my morning routine started with Surya Namaskaar; followed by Vocal Music practice. After 12th, my entire routine became a mess. After a long period I started Surya Namaskaar again after seeing your demonstration and felt that same happiness again I used to feel during school days and also realised that sometimes only one thing can be fruitful to repair your entire routine of the day. 5:28 was very important for me! I very often make the mistake to accidentally (not even consciously) put pressure on my knee during poses which then leads to a lot of pain in the aftermath. The fact that my legs are my fattest part (therefor also a lot around the knee) and that my legs easily keep a lot of watermass which already puts pressure on my knee daily anyway doesn't help either. Thanks to these explanations I can at least get rid of 1 of those knee problems now xD (I already tried walking inbetween, putting my legs up a wall and reducing salt in my meals to deal with the water situation but so far the only thing that has really made a huge difference is a fixed sleep schedule)

We believe that Yoga is for everyone. Even you are 70 years old you still can practice. But you have to keep in mind, whatever you practice have to do with the right techniques. Some asanas can cause join pain if you do it wrong. Thank u soo much sir❤️❤️ I hardly knew this u made it so clear..have been practicing yoga for past 7 yrs but due to wrong posture or so I experienced sciatica ( pain at right hips .. i.e like shock waves or so)after childbirth..but never stopped practicing infact learnt poses to combat pain..now practicing to right body poses
