I think the part I struggle with most in the loss of Chris and Chester, is that listening back through all of their early music... they literally screamed out their pain to the world through music ; millions of us heard those songs and cries for help. It chills me in hindsight, and breaks my heart. It has made me more cognizant in paying attention to the screams of people who don’t get their “song” played on the radio

There is many other musicians in the same boat as those two. Music and lyrics are certainly metaphors for a lot of artists. A way to tell people how to you feel, even if the recipient doesn't comprehend the real meaning. Its a therapy. And i like to believe that it has saved more of them than we have lost. And to the ones the world does lose, at least they truly had a go.

I'm a grown ass man I'll be 50 next year and I am not ashamed to tell you I bawled and cried like a little child!! The man was a vocal genius a lyrical God! alan vashovsky There is no such thing as a C flat in most situations because from B to C is only one half step.

Love that Metallica picked two UltraMega OK songs to cover. Separate the true Soundgarden fans from those who were waiting for Spoonman and Black Hole Sun.

The reality is Chris' register was so much rangier than Hetfield's that there aren't too many songs they could do Justice (For All). My top 5 picks for a Metallica set that was covering Chris' career: Exploder (Audioslave) Holy Water (Soundgarden) Pushing Forward Back (Temple of the Dog) Hunger Strike w/ Jack Black (Temple of the Dog) Fell on Black Days (Soundgarden) P.S. True Soundgarden fans wouldn't pit other Soundgarden fans against each other because that's not what Cornell was about. Some folks probably don't listen to music outside the radio and are still big Soundgarden fans just because of the solid airplay they get on modern rock radio stations around the World.

@@Hurtio Absolutely right, he labeled himself as "not a true fan" by spouting that gibberish. I like those choices and would add switch opens

When did jack black become Goerge RR Martin?
@benroth15886 жыл бұрын
Lot of comments here about what jack black looked like. George RR Martin is most accurate. A young one though.
