You are the master of creating these 'why, what and how' videos. I always point others who show interest in the club when I'm practicing in the gym or at the park to your videos like these. It's just so very cool, unique and most importantly..FUN! I get a kick out of explaining my Adex club's ability to micro load much like barbell training. You rock, Mark.

I bought an Adex adjustable club before the Wildman edition was available. At the time I bought it, they fat handle was out of stock so I went with the original handle. My advice, unless you have very small hands would be to get either the fat handle or the Wildman handle. The original is a little too thin and while you may think it's easier to grip, it actually means causes the handle to have more ability to move around in your hand when you increase the weight - making single hand workout a challenge as your grip will fatigue much quicker, leading to the handle moving more, leading to blisters. Not terrible for double handed movements - but go with a larger grip

I’m still not totally clear when you do single club vs double. What goals do each support if I’m only choosing one of the two? I do jiu jitsu and otherwise just trying to stay generally fit and healthy.

If the current recommendation is 5x a week for heavy clubs, how does that integrate back with the Tetris of Training videos? I'm currently doing kettlbells 3/week and clubs 3/week and can't really see a way to work clubs in more often without compromising kettlebell training (which I'm more interested in). Anyone?
@brawndothethirstmutilator98485 күн бұрын
Warm up or cool down on your KB days with clubs. Neurological training is also training especially with complex skills.
@andreibarbuta5 күн бұрын
The best would be 2 x per week Kettlebell Clean and Swing (Heavy/Light alternates), 2 x per week 2 handed Heavy Club Program, 2 x per week Single handed heavy Club Program
@brawndothethirstmutilator98485 күн бұрын
@andreibarbuta, Unless someone has very specific needs or a very specific goal I wouldn’t recommend running a 2 Hand Club program at the same time and with the same frequency as a 1 Hand Club program. Run 2 Hand for X number of weeks and then run 1 Hand X number of weeks is usually superior.

Here's an idea for you: ABCD A: 2H Club / Bodyweight 101 B: Slamball / 1H Club C: KB Day C&P / H2H Swing D: Rest-Yin Yoga-Heavy Ruck Each day is 1hr or so 1:15 max Each week the WODs day changes adding some unpredictablity to the Tetris. D: Should almost always be a rest day or Yoga. A: Always have one of his BW inserted. 101, TGU, Krav GU, Judo GU, Prone GU, Screwing PU, Beast PU. These are much more difficult than they sound and deserve a spot in the rotation. Thanks for listening
