Max. Absolutely agree. Alpine 110 is one of the most " special and interesting" sports cars currently available. Okay the Porsche Cayman is the " obvious" choice... Exactly! So be different and buy a 110. Only forget all the Limited edition nonsense, buy a used 110 GT in blue and use it every day. Only just don't buy a flat white! 😂👍

I love the idea of the A110 but I'd be more tempted to buy a mildly used base model than this special edition. The idea of spending £80K for a shade of paint, a few stickers, some carbon & alcantara doesn't appeal to me at all. At that price tag, I'd have to buy a manual V6 Emira ( or even Evora GT..) or Cayman GT4. My final 'reservations' with the A110 are the limited Dealer Network and how well it retains it's value (or not..)

Great review and your previous drive in the GT was watched by me far too many times! Did the trick though, helped me buy my GT! best car I’ve ever owned and the attention it gets is utterly insane.

Now all you have to do is try the R. I have to tell you that this Sanremo has that truly wonderful burgundy carbon roof. On the wheels, I agree, I love them black on sports cars. I have an R because I wanted an extreme one, with all the carbon that I love, with unique aerodynamic features, engineering solutions, carbon wheels and crazy interiors with seats always in carbon. In addition, I bought the version with Pikes Peak livery, almost the only one in the world, I don't know if you know it (it comes from the race in Colorado in 2023). In any case, I agree with everything you said. Extraordinary car and still little understood. Greetings from Italy.

@DrivenPlus like someone pointed out that's a hard sell when Lotus and Porsche offer similar cars but with a six pot. Personally it'd always be there. Also can't get away with the Renault part
