High Reps = Sacroplasmic Hypertrophy (Bodybuilders) Low Reps = Myofibrilar Hypertrophy (Weight/Power Lifters) We should train for both.

Best way is to do Pyramids. Sets of 15-12-10-8-6 reps while increasing weight with each set. You cover High and Low rep range using this method.

Moral: High weight low reps or Light weight high reps doesn't really matter. Just increase the intensity of the workout and decrease the resting phase.

Hi jeet I absolutely agree with each and every single point...Intensity should be there in each and every workout that you do...I just want to clarify one point...when we talk about rep range above 15 it comes under endurance training and mixing all the rep ranges as you specified will ultimately contradict endurance and hypertrophy training as well...which will lead to neither the development of type 1 or type 2 muscle fibers completely... Please do clarify.....
