Hi Jere Would you have a suggestion on the RPM of the main bead roller shaft for a beginner or the motor rpm I'm considering 9 RPM on motor itself.

Thanks for watching. I'm working on another bead roller project and should be uploading it soon. The shaft speed will vary quite a bit depending on if you are working in the straight or a curvy project. If you don't have variable speed you can set your machine up for a slightly faster speed and jog the foot pedal to slow the speed down where you need more control. Jere

Hello Mr. T: The dolly is an attachment for a Porta Power. It fits onto the head of a bolt of the appropriate size and that is welded to a short length of 1" square tubing. That is placed into an attachment I made that that goes into the vise and will accept any tool I make with a 1" square shank. Hope this helps and thanks for watching. Jere

Hi EA: The bead roller, shrinker- stretcher, and the wheels of my English wheel are all Harbor Freight. I buy them mainly for the material and a starting point. Then I take them all apart and make them into usable machines. Good question. Jere

1100 is 99% pure aluminum. Why are you suggesting that? 1100 is like play-doh

Hello Mike: Like Play-Doh. That is exactly the reason. It moves easily and never has to be annealed. This is an non- structural part and will most likely be hung on the wall. If 5052-H32 were used (having Magnesium 2.5% and Chromium 0.25%) this same piece would have had to bee annealed before starting and maybe once or twice during the process. 3003 would have been another choice being a little more readily available.
