The one thing I think everyone misses is that these came out in 2019. In Violet's tale, he keeps saying two zero zero five or 2005, 14 years before the songs came out. He doesn't give Jenny's age, but he does say Screech is 14 solidifying the timeline. When he says "we must rewind the hands of time for Violet's tale," it's not just the next section, but the whole song.

I've seen so many of ren song reactions multiple x each & I still fi dmyself glued to his videos like its my 1st or 2nd x.! so kool. So enthralling is REN. His artistry & ability to captivate anaudience is beyond anything since MJ, Prince, And maybe EM. He's top 5 in my list of Greats!

Jennys tale was prompted by a newspaper story and people saying its such a shame then a few months later came Screeches tale then it was nearly 2 years later he released Violets tale tying it all together. Masterpiece

This song, but Violet's Tale in particular, makes Ren BardCore for me. He reminds me of a Renaissance Bard, telling his tales of life and woe. This is why so much oral traditions are passed down with song.

It's interesting how Screech turned out like his father, violent and abusive while Jenny turned out like Violet, always so quiet, and neither of them knew their parents. Awesome reaction!! Can't wait for MG3!!!

This is for you Joe E , I recently saw a live chat stream with Ren, Sam and Josh talking about the filming of Violet’s Tale. The room they used was actually a bike storage room. They had to go in and move out the bikes that were chained to a bike rack so they had to get the bikes and rack out of there still attached by bike chains. Josh and Sam were building the bed to discover it was a child’s bed that sat low to the ground. They ended up having to support the bed higher with two stands strapped to the bottom of the bed leaving the bed levitated without legs to make it a proper height. The IV bag apparently was actually an enema bag . Thank you again for your reaction Danny Mack! See you again soon I hope.

I stand by it, though. In that little moment, and very subtly a few times after, you harmonized really pretty. It's hard to harmonize with a piece like this unless you understand the emotions trying to be depicted. Be brave- do a video where you duet with him, underneath, harmonizing with this piece. Nobody will want to do that, but I think you sounded really good doing it, almost accidentally.

Really enjoyed the reaction, Gentlemen! Getting to listen to a filmmaker's point of view was eye-opening ❤ The idea I always had with that pan up the winding staircase was that this is a story of generational abuse & trauma - the stairs resemble a DNA strand - right when Ren sings "she never really had a chance ". Mind blown! He's a freaking genius! The other interesting idea is when Stevie steps back & says "Wait, say something, Violet " and we can hear the seagulls in the background. I thought it was strange he didn't edit them out, but then remembered that birds were thought to carry newly deceased souls to heaven. I wonder if that is reaching, but it's what I like to think it means. Poor Violet!

Brainsqueeze reactions, Mark still had the best reaction to when “Violet’s Tale” came up…..he didn’t know Violet was even part of it. So it was hilarious. I won’t type it here but it’s worth just watching that one part lol. I still love watching people’s reactions to Jenny/Screech/Violet’s tale. It never gets old (as long as they “get it” lol). SPOILER ALERT: When Screech was knocking on Patrick's door and had no luck then when he called his girlfriend and she said she was busy. She was cheating on Screech with Patrick which is why he didn't answer the door. Also Jenny and Screech were separated at birth. Jenny turned out just like her mother who was silent and Screech turned out just like Stevie and Violet's father. Plus Violet's mother stayed silent too, and Screech was pissed at Violet because she told him that she was pregnant with his baby when she was too far along for it to be his (it was Violet's father who got her pregnant NOT Screech).
