John Bull Off Road Trial (3N10) In Big Bear

A small group of Jeeps on the 3N10 John Bull #offroad trail in the Big Bear mountains. We had a few Jeep JKs, a couple of Jeep TJ’s and a Jeep YJ.
The John Bull 4x4 Trial is rated as “most difficult”. Usually the Gatekeeper is the most difficult part of the trail but on this trip it was not as hard as it has been in the past. The first mile of the John Bull has several tough obstacles and the last mile only has a few - ending at the “west end gatekeeper” which is only a moderately difficult rock-garden.
The perfect weather made for a great day in Big Bear!

I have a JLU Rubicon on 35 and 2.5 inch lift, manual transmission , sliders, think I’ll make it with the right lines?

With the right lines, you'll be fine.. Depending on the condition of The Gatekeeper (it changes all the time) you might struggle a bit, but 35's and 2.5" lift is all you need.. The stickshift will keep in interesting..
