I bet that valve was leaking in the past and someone just cranked down the cap to try to stop it, then it cracked after a while from being too tight. Especially with the weird angle where core tool wouldn't fit.

Wow. Great job. However i wonder how much their water bill is each month having that water cooled condenser. I see a fan that looks as if its used to keep the head of the comoressor cool. I repaired a water cooled ice machine for a friend that owned a restaurant. When i told him about tge water he decided to switch to an air cooled condensor. His water bill dropped $300 dollars. This cooler looks weird with the way the ceiling inside drops down on one side. The compressor on this sounds a little loud like the valves are going bad. May just be the way the camera is picking it up. However teacumpsa compressors are loud, and i think water cooled ones are more louder in general. I hate heatcraft coils. I prefer either peerless or keeprite coils as well as copeland condensing units.

@@JumpermanTech This is why as a business owner you should always hire a professional HVAC/ electrician to work on these systems. "Mr. Handy Andy" could save you a few bucks at the cost of thousands.

JMT, I really admire your skill level both in troubleshooting and making the repairs to these various HVACR units you repair. However, a lot of the time when you'te explaining and showing your process, it is out of view of the camera and it has made your videos hard to watch. Many times the viewers can only see your hands. Your camera isn't aimed high enough.
