What I like about jumping rope is that 30 mins flies by before you know it. I like doing two minute rounds with 30 secs rest 12x and that burns nearly 500 cals at my bodyweight. Also even though it's pretty intense cardio during, you recover fast from it and can do it on a daily basis. It doesn't interfere with lifting or recovery at all.

@@landonsullivan2377 - Good stuff man. It's a lot lower impact than people think. I go in waves. There will be months where jump rope is my main form of conditioning. Then I'll do burpees for months. Now I'm doing hill sprints. Usually it takes 3-4 months for me to get bored and do something new.

Since then a jump rope is a staple and if I go anywhere for a long time the rope comes with me. Very little space is needed. I just subscribed and I'm so excited to learn more about new workouts and form from this channel. Fuck yeah! Keep it up jump rope dudes!!!

If I were you I'd run more a week. Running is great for cardio endurance strength and muscle size. Depending on how you do it. So running 2-3 times a week is good i.e Monday, Thursday and Sunday 2 days in-between, then the next week it's Wednesday and Saturday, and so on. Then you can even have 3 days in-between sometime and some weeks only once a week. But try and do it 2-3 times a week it's more beneficial. Then do other workouts on that same day, go for a run, come home do squats and lunges and jump rope. But jump rope 4-6 days a week if you can it's just a great calf, coordination, rhythm, forearm, building exercise, pair it with calf raises and you have your calves sorted out.

The only one with any ability was an 8th grade wrestler. He did it every other minute and calisthenics in between. He made it for 22 minutes. After 3 hrs I was pretty gassed. I love it. Made my running time actually better, I think the hip flexors develop out of the daisy clipper height. I am currently waiting for my new Crossrope which I ordered on Monday. I seem to be the only rope jumper at the gym. I bring my own and won’t borrow it to people. The rope is really important.

Man great to see your enthusiasm for jump rope. Only last night I was thinking how can I maintain my exercise routine, as I've lost my kit due to a flood. Started thinking of the space in the new house and skipping came into my mind, now today I come across you guys. Going to be watching your beginners videos for guidance. Great job.

@Here Comes Salvation most likely what Diego does is change the intensity. Maybe does 30mins of light work and the next day high intensity of doubles, high knees, at a fast speed. See what I'm saying?

I bought the jump ropes you guys promote after watching multiple videos during the begin of Covid at 2 am when I couldn't sleep. I don't regret it one bit .Those ropes help me to get in good shape and every once in a while one or more go missing ,in the house (because I have multiple weights of ropes) I stop everything until I find them all and put them back in the proper place in the bag it came in . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~I LOVE those ROPES !! Thanks so much MONEY WELL SPENT~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I've done this for a little over a month. My calves and the bottom of my feet are screaming. I went too hard too long too soon but I am getting quicker on my feet. I set my timer app anywhere from 1 to 2 minutes at a time with a 20-30 second break.then I do how ever many rounds that suites me that particular day.

Thank you for the video! Question: im 5’8 158 pounds, and about 6 months into my fitness journey (mainly lifting using compound exercises)-I’ve wanted to incorporate cardio into my weekly cadence about 1-2 times a week. Does jumping rope have any negative impact to protein synthesis/muscle growth? Only targeting 20-30 minutes per session. Thanks!
@karlmoody4891
@karlmoody4891 9 ай бұрын
How did that work out for you? Not only does it not have any negative effect on muscle growth, but in my case I always peak the hardest when my rope skipping is on point.

Hi, I have been using the get lean set... I must admit that I am fine with the half pound rope but the quarter pou d I feel is too light and I just can't get to grips with it 😂. I recently purchased the get strong set as well because I love jumping rope... It is AWESOME!! The feeling after a successful workout is just incredible. The crossrope app for workouts is also a fantastic tool to have at my arsenal with my fitness journey.... My GOAL: lose stubborn belly fat, get shredded and have fun whilst I do that.

The beauty of jump rope is it basically eliminates all excuses. Don’t have to go to the gym, get in your car, put shorts and shoes on, and on and on. I do my jumps all throughout the day. 5 mins of downtime, jump, want to decompress before a stressful day, jump, about to make a speech and hate public speaking and need to get rid of nervous energy, jump, etc.

I believe without a doubt that jumping rope is an extremely crucial part of strenghtening and balancing the body's core and is a crucial contributor to optimal physical performance and endurance. The same with training with free-weights and resistant training as well. I used a lot of this type of training in my youth as a fighter. Now,if i could just sum up the drive to sculpt my body and actually do it these days. What's stopping me? My extreme lack of drive,ambition..oh hell..im just lazy.

I was running two hours a day 14 miles a day but I decided to try running just one hour a day and 7 miles a day instead and using the other hour for jumping rope. I like it so far. My app is telling me I’m burning about the same amount of calories but it’s more interesting from my point of view and my one run is now faster than it used to be when I was doing it twice a day

The flo chart explains this that if your challenge is too hard then it causes anxiety and if it’s too easy then youre bored but if you find the sweet spot then you’re in a “flo mode” where everything is simply a whole better from your long term performance to overall mood so yeah
