Ironic.. Considering that the sin these people are committing is called "self reightousness". It's not our place to judge.. It's up to an individual to hear and heed the living breathing word of God, written upon the heart. The word of God isn't soley relegated to a book. It's pretentious, and contradictory to quote the bible to fluff their own points. They miss the point entirely and turn people away by trying to be right. And by trying to BE right, they fall short of the grace of achieving what is reightous. The bible is merely a tool, and to some - a convenient weapon exclusively towards it's own believers.

Even when it feels like a mountain is on your chest he's there to lift it off and pick us back up. It's awesome knowing people like Theo and Kat aren't afraid to tell the truth of who they believe in. There shouldn't be a reason to be ashamed anyway. Whoever ridicules or judges God bless them. Especially on the inside at church is where the judgment is the strongest. Christ didn't die for our sins and rise up on the 3rd day for cookie cutter outfits and traditions and ceremonies. He came to tear that down and give us the straight bridge from us to the Father. We have a direct relationship with God no matter what we look like or where we came from or where we're at in life. He welcomes us even more when we just finished rolling around in the mud.

Exactly! The apostle Paul… According to the Acts, Paul lived as a Pharisee and participated in the persecution of early disciples of Jesus, possibly Hellenised diaspora Jews converted to Christianity, in the area of Jerusalem, prior to his conversion. Some time after having approved of the execution of Stephen, Paul was traveling on the road to Damascus so that he might find any Christians there and bring them "bound to Jerusalem". At midday, a light brighter than the sun shone around both him and those with him, causing all to fall to the ground, with the risen Christ verbally addressing Paul regarding his persecution in a vision. Having been made blind, along with being commanded to enter the city, his sight was restored three days later by Ananias of Damascus. After these events, Paul was baptized, beginning immediately to proclaim that Jesus of Nazareth was the Jewish messiah and the Son of God. He made three missionary journeys to spread the Christian message to non-Jewish communities in Asia Minor, the Greek provinces of Achaia, Macedonia, and Cyprus, as well as Judea and Syria, as narrated in the Acts

I have noticed so many turning to God. It makes sense, because the world is such a mess, but ours eyes are being opened. God is truth. I've even been critized by my own mother, who goes to a different kind of church than I do. She even said I was being brainwashed. 🙄 I used to be an atheist, I thought she'd be happy for me. But I don't let it discourage me. Thank you, Jesus. 🙏 ❤️

What a beautiful testimony!! I'm curious if becoming a mother played a part in her coming to Christ? I know that; that's when it happened for me. Holding my perfect baby boy, looking down at him. Holding him in my arms for the first time. . . I knew He had a hand it. I KNEW it was beyond Science.

That definitely makes a difference. It wasn't my blood child but my gf and having a baby in your hands definitely changes how you think and act. A whole life depends on you. I quit cold turkey for my bf and her child. Even would tolerate his cries and so forth like a real father. It was weird to me cuz I knew any other baby it would be annoying to me. But instincts kick in and...yeah...life hits ya!

Girl, I was so much my own person growing up, that if I dressed any way outside the box, I don’t think I could’ve handled the comments. So I applaud your bravery for knowing that your look doesn’t define the aspects of your soul and I know so many Christian’s get that, especially this day and age. I think it’s also the fact that so many families go to church and are so focused on just gettin by that the old mom jeans and basic shirts become the norm as is for myself ha 😆 anyway, amen for your life and amen for your new life:)

Most likely just in your head. Even if people were talking about you, they probably weren’t judging you. They might be saying all that so sad let’s pray for him. You’re just assuming the worst because it’s church people which kind of makes you the judgmental one or prejudice one.

Being spiritually Born Again as a Christian is life-transforming, so I fully understand Kat's desire to transform the outside to reflect more of her new self. Every morning, having to look at the old person and nature of who you were would be horrible for any Christian. Going black to cover the darkness of the past is pretty admirable. It reminds me of what happened in Ephesus, as recorded by Luke in the Book of Acts. After hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ, many who became Christians publicly confessed their practices and burned their magic books. Kat is doing the same thing, destroying the old self as the new person emerges in Christ Jesus.

As a sinner that has grown up in a protestant and converted to Catholic still learning everyday some days are better then others and I still make mistakes, this is AMAZING and THANK YOU for sharing your story, I have tattoos, I don't say the right thing, I am the last person that should be invited to be with the Lord but He calls to each and every one of us. I don't say this to make me look better but simply to support and say WE ARE ALL broken and only He can fix us. You are an awesome example of bravery, people act like Christians can't be persecuted but we are every day. Thank you and welcome to the family sis!
