If you had to choose between vaping and smoking (because quitting cold turkey could give you a heart attack), you'd choose smoking? Because tar is so much cooler than vape juice that's proven not to leave any resadue?

Personally my wife and I got so far in our careers and are just now beginning to understand it’s a dead end road dying alone, serving a system that doesn’t give a 💩 about us. Im trying hard to bring her home with the kids where she’s loved and appreciated.

Cigarettes and alcohol addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago, when i lost my husband I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. Not until my son recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

Ikr I’m in the process of tapering off, I gave up straight tobacco went to vaping and still going through withdrawls it’s crazy how strong tobacco is. I’ve quit vaping before which is why I wanted to do it this way. Now weed is down to about .5 a day. Switching to CBD after this joint that lasts me a couple days. Slowly tapering off made me feel so much more okay with quitting. Been planning this for months and so far tobacco is gone forever, about to give up weed for cbd and then vaping cold turkey once this disposable is gone

I go extreme with everything I do, which is really a big fault... I started smoking at 19 (some sadness hit me) and I tried to quit so many times.. My first successful quit lasted 3.5 years (using a tablet) and I went back after an argument. I reached about 25 Cigs a day and I remember playing with my kids, hiding and smoking and I said that was it, I hated that it controlled me...I'm smoke-free for 4 years so far and I always keep reminding myself that it's very easy to fall back....

During covid my occasional recreational drug habit quickly exploded into a full blown $500+ a week habit when i was informed they were gonna give me $900+ a week to not work and nothing was open so couldnt really do anything. It quickly turned into me just sitting at home by myself. Doing drugs and watching KZbin. For basically an entire year before i finally ended it. P.S. i was making around $550 a week working before covid lol

The dirty cigs were my poison of choice as well. That nicotine & caffeine kick first thing in the morning was heavenly. Smoked a pack a day for 13 years. Will be one full year come February since I last lit up. No vapes. No gum. Used the patch for the first several months. Quitting smoking is a total marathon though. Still have those bad weeks even after all this time. My patience is about half of what it used to be. Looking back on things, pretty sure that was always just a character flaw of mine, & cigs definitely rounded those sharp edges of mine, which is why I took to them so intensely. Almost like cruel joke how destructive they are to your health. Several friends (including myself) I feel were just genuinely better people as smokers lol.

I was chain smoking a pack a day for about a year, sometimes 2 packs. Smoked 4 in one sitting and knew I had to quit. Went cold turkey and always came back to it years later. Really struggled with it for a couple years. I took mushrooms once at a festival and I've never really had the urge since then. Apparently mushrooms are effective 80% of the time for quitting nicotine.

Hey Theo I quit the vape by using the patch I started with the full strength one for 2 weeks then the lower dose ones for a week then the last week I would cut those in half to make the dose a little lower. Every time I would have the urge to vape I would pop a wintergreen life saver mint in my mouth I ate a lot of mints but it worked to get the hand to mouth motion still. I was fully addicted to vaping the 50% nic I did it for 3 years after smoking cigs for 15. But the only way you can quit is if you actually want to. If your gonna do nicotine at least use zyn or something cus vape is terrible for you now days they have added something to it that’s not good it seems like.

I have such a strange instinct towards the Higher Power. I think it's because I've always had such a strong dose of evil around me, it's difficult to connect with so much distance. I think about how desperate I have been for connection, even bonded with evil. It seems to me that those bonds that you make with the evil around you are the hardest additions to deal with. Really hurts to go the other direction. Takes serious strength.

Stay strong. I think I understand it's so easier to tap into the darkside because it's right there. Instant. But like anything that's good for you requires work and discipline. It's like your body, eating bad and being lazy is easy but to be healthy takes discipline and the effort. Hope things get better for you 🙏
