This madness needs to stop, of course there are unfair advantages that hormones & SRS/GRS can not and do not change and It's not being transphobic to say so, it's just stating the obvious. I should know. I'm a 59 year old M2F Post-Op transsexual who began my transition in the late 1970's while still at school & completed my SRS in the early 1980's. I'm 45 years on hormones & closing on 4 decades post-op. Women's voices need to be heard, not silenced. This is utter madness and should not be allowed. It's nothing more than legalized cheating in my eyes to allow a male to female trans person to compete in women's sports and no It is not being transphobic to speak out about this. So TRA's need to stop trying to brand folks transphobic just because they care about fairness in women's sports and the health/safety and wellbeing of women. Many of today's M2F trans folk seem to be so far removed and blinkered to what being female is that they can not even empathise with a woman or see their own advantages they have over them in these areas when it comes to competing in sports. Let's think about this for a moment - why did they even start women's sports decades ago? Because they knew then that there WAS A PHYSIOLOGICAL DIFFERENCE between men and women, and they could not compete evenly against each other! Winning some of the major tennis or golf tournaments can earn millions of dollars for some top female athletes. And my understanding is that the top 900 ranked male tennis players in the world can beat a number-one ranked female tennis player. If I am one of the financially struggling 900 male tennis players, I would be seriously tempted to claim as a transgender athlete and go for that million$ in the US Open, French Open, and so on. If this inclusiveness of transgender athlete movement is allowed, and we can't just cherry-pick only at an amateur level but needs to be played out at the highest level including the major tennis tournaments. And if this happens, there would be almost no female athletes competing at the highest level, especially in a sport where a winner can earn millions. And in time, I believe it would greatly discourage any young girls to play sports and put their earnest effort and time to reach for their goal, knowing that it would be close to impossible to compete at an equal footing no matter how hard they may try. Simply, this is not fair.

What this segment fails to point out is that the Women's shot put is just over half the weight of the Men's shot put. And even then, the distance record for the Men's is higher than the Women's. So if any decent male shot putter one day decides to identify as a woman and compete in the Women's divisions, records would be broken almost immediately.
