Fun reaction. Subbed. Funny thing is, Tatiana is barely flexing here. That said, there is some editing tricks - layered vocals and cutting some parts together. I always suggest a concert video to follow up to see the real thing because as cool as this is, they are better on stage with the crowd to motivate them. And as much as I love Pisces there is much more impressive stuff they've done - Faster switching, lower growls, whole other singing genres. Perennial live at Wacken is a great next step to see them on stage and to see Tati flex a bit more but still have surprises to discover. ;) The growls aren't done using her vocal cords, but rather with her false vocal cords. If you want a technical explanation, look up The Fairy Voice Mother's reaction to Pisces. It is the best analysis I've seen, including demonstrating the technique after she spits up her tea in initial shock. ;) I saw that look that said "this is good, but not 50M views for a band I've never heard of good - what's the catch?" haha. I love how they made the studio look super chill like they had some time to kill and whaddya know here's a free room we can record in. Then notice all the little lights and the interesting shadows and how Tati's outfit echoes the costumes in Star Wars ANH with the black and white theme and tall boots. Fun stuff. Cheers!

That "high" ending is not combining the 2 parts of her voice, but she's good enough that she can change the perceived pitch of the scream/growl by adjusting her vowels and tongue position. It's cool because none of the screams have a pitch (her vocal chords are not involved), yet we still hear those parts as "higher." Her technique is just insane 😁

I like to watch your reactions; I was hoping you'd discover Jinjer. I simply adore them. The musicians are top notch, sometimes unconsciously overshadowed by Tatiana, who is the one and only in her singing technique, with a huge talent. Lyrics? You need to dig deeper, it is necessary. Tatiana writes most of them. Deep, full of meaning. All members of the band, they are very nice pople and all are also otherwise highly educated intellectuals, actually. There are only three men who play - and they sound like at least a six-member band. Exceptional, top musicians. Watch them in more details and everything will be clear to you. About Tatjana ... you don't have to waste words, do you? She is simply ... THE queen! Next to watch (everything they do is a masterpiece!), and follow the lyrics: "Perennial" live in Wacken (open-air festival in Germany), "Who is gonna be the one" live, "Teacher Teacher" official video, "Home back" - that song shakes you to the bone! I am sure you know something about the war in Ukraine, their home land. It is so sad and makes you think about what kind of world we live in ... even though you Americans are geographically so far away from this happening that it's probably harder to understand the horror of, let's say - their war. And after when you'd understand more what talent and mastery is hidden in all these songs, it is obligatory to listen "Judgment and Punishemt" - one take performance. It blows you to space!

Jinjer has a lot of excellent tracks. From what you said I think you'd really enjoy "I Speak Astronomy". My personal favourites are "Teacher, Teacher", "Perennial" and "Home Back". You could do a double reaction to Perennial (official video + live at Wacken) and also to Judgement & Punishment (official video + live one-shot vocal performance). But it's hard to choose as so many of their tracks are superb. The lyrics are always interesting and often very deep. By the way, they are Ukrainian - Tatiana on vocals, Vlad on drums, Roman on guitar and Eugene on bass. All masters of their respective arts. Their original home area is part of the disputed territories suffering Russian-backed paramilitary incursion, so they have seen some bad stuff - thus the track "Home Back", they literally want their home back.
