Learned 2 new things. One, must say that is interesting method for the cornmeal dough and I like the puree raisins idea (great way to hide it from ppl who do not like raisins)

Delicious!! Reminds me of Hallacas my Venezuelan grandmother used to make . Method is exactly the same. FYI, Hallacas is the Venezuelan version of Trini pastel.
