There's a 100% chance that the activist was only at the comedy show in the first place to go hunting for something to be outraged about. Everyone knows activists don't like comedy, or anything fun. It's the only possible reason they could have been there.
@ericdodson2644
@ericdodson2644 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but outrage is a form of recreation for them. It's why they go to places like comedy clubs in the first place. So... it seems like they got their money's worth from that show.
@markzuckergecko621

@@ericdodson2644 imagine hating life so much you go out of your way to go to a comedy show, just to find something to be outraged about. They're like a health department weasel that audits restaurants, but is really looking more for a lapse in paperwork or arbitrary procedure than any actual, immediate health risks. Except the inspector is at least getting paid by an employer, and food safety can actually harm people if not done properly. The outrage auditors are just self employed freelancers, and their currency is social media clout. We are a silly culture.
@ericdodson2644
@ericdodson2644 2 жыл бұрын
@@markzuckergecko621 Yeah... but I'd also say that our culture is only as silly as we let it be. We could just *ignore* all of the outrage merchants, just like we ignore obnoxious toddlers. But for some reason, everyone is taking their petulant tantrums WAY too seriously... which of course only produces even more of the exact same behavior. And so it goes.
@markzuckergecko621
@markzuckergecko621 2 жыл бұрын
@@ericdodson2644 well, one of the inherent weaknesses of liberal philosophy, and valuing individualism over collectivism is that we suck at being collective. And the leftist hive mind is obsessively collective. So whether or not people like you and I ignore it, it's going to have social effects. A lot of people are just going to go along with it because they don't want to be called naughty names.

I went to a comedy club I got up to get some beers and the comedian made fun of my shirt. When I told him that he couldn't afford it he told me it looked like it was made from 99% polyester 1% Chinese children's tears. I went home, cried and posted an angry twitter message. Years ago I had a full red/ginger beard & was at a Comedy Club in Golders Green, London. I got some stick from some of the comedians but I'd expected it as I was sitting at the front with my gorgeous looking girlfriend. After the show was over a couple of the comedians came & thanked me for being such a great source of material for them & apologised if they'd upset me. I told them I was too busy laughing to be upset. Plus why go to a Comedy Club, sit in the front row & not expect to become part of the act/material?

We don't refer to a dog that has 4 legs as a 4 legged dog, or a quadraped or anything like that, the assumption is that a dog has 4 legs. If a dog has 3 legs you might call it a tripod, or some other reference to it having 3 legs, because it goes against the assumption of a "normal dog". And that doesn't mean you hate dogs with 3 legs either, it's just an observation that they're abnormal.

These activist trans are more concerned about power then their gender issues, they want to be 'special'. That's why they use terms like 'cis' instead of just saying women or when the discussion is relevant specify that someone is a straight women. They want there own language, to control your speaking and in effect your thinking and to use a political movement that has no opposition to it. Anything involving politics and trans people is BS and some kind of think tanks developed psy op because it is effective as we can all see for the last half decade while at the same time we ALL know it's bullshit.

I went to a comedy drag show in Benidorm for my mates birthday celebration. I was the last one to get served at the bar and the show had started when I went to find my seat. The star of the show really took the piss at me and when I sat down insinuated I was gay because I had white socks on. It was so offensive, and I laughed like fuck. Later I was chosen to take part in the show as a stooge because of that, and that was great, and I and my mates were called up on stage for the finale. After the show, the club owner gave me a bottle of wine as a thank you for being a good stooge.We had a great time and I would have been so disappointed if I had not had the piss taken and got a chance to help make the audience laugh. Thanks again Leo. You are the master! Adam Riley's joke was very funny and as you say, very mild and not anti trans. He was making fun of himself, not trans people. It seems these days you could say "1-2-3-4- Trans 5-6-7-8" and some trans activist will insist you are guilty of heinous hate speech". How spineless of City Comedy Club. Their statement is basically an ad for their club saying "Come to City Comedy Club for the most bland, boring night of your life"

I went to a Jon Lovitz show a few months back. First off, he’s a master as good as Chappell. Second, he spared no categories including trans. My face muscles were getting sore from laughing. I will seek him out again and see him. He ended the show by playing and singing at the piano. He did a medley changing the words of various famous songs about Bob Saget being gay. Bob died the next week. I am sure that Jon was good friends with Bob.

Two people walk out of a comedy club offended. Everyone else laughs (say about 250 open minded people). Comedy club sides with the two offended people and bans "all offensive language" Next night the comedy club has two people in the audience. One week later comedy club closes.

That person is making it up as he goes along just for the sake of one-upmanship. 'Hobo: A person who travels from place to place looking for work, especially on farms.' As defined by the OED. 'Person' can be white, black, pink, one-legged, trans, etc. There is no connection at all with any of the protected characteristics as outlined in the Equality Act 2010. In short, next time you meet him, tell him to shove it.

Anything and everything is funny and is fair game for comedy. The only rule is that someone somewhere must find it funny. Its like the definition of 'hate speech' in UK law; Anything and everything can be considered hate speech if someone somewhere finds something offensive. If I find something offensive, I ignore it. If I find something isn't funny; I don't laugh. The 'trans activists' really are going out of their way to make themselves less popular than dog sh*t flavoured ice-cream with their 'treat us differently but we want to be treated the same' moronic ideology. If you identify as a 'Trans activist' you have truly failed as a human.
