Of course all comedians who still believe in free speech could refuse to play at that venue. Not sure how long a comedy club without comedians will last

Here's a thought: when you enter a comedy club, try leaving your god damn politics at the door.

Nice suggestion. But I think it's beyond the comprehension of the people who need to understand it.

@@ericdodson2644 Possibly, but comedy clubs need to start thinking this way if they want to survive. Harmless, politically correct, always-punching-up comedy is just so tedious and predictable.

@@thejedsterYT ... I agree. But of course that means learning to ignore people's petulant tantrums, rather than taking them seriously and giving-in to their demands.

A comedy club that bans comedians surely shouldn't be allowed to call itself a comedy club.

"Comedians have to be able to TRANSgress" - see what you did there, Leo 😂😂
@tc52732 жыл бұрын
Anything and everything is funny and is fair game for comedy. The only rule is that someone somewhere must find it funny. Its like the definition of 'hate speech' in UK law; Anything and everything can be considered hate speech if someone somewhere finds something offensive. If I find something offensive, I ignore it. If I find something isn't funny; I don't laugh. The 'trans activists' really are going out of their way to make themselves less popular than dog sh*t flavoured ice-cream with their 'treat us differently but we want to be treated the same' moronic ideology. If you identify as a 'Trans activist' you have truly failed as a human.
