This isn't your average thin crepe; Doaddap is a fluffy, golden disc, bursting with the earthy goodness of urad daal and the wholesome bite of wheat rava.

INGREDIENTS (For 3 People):
125 Grams Urad Daal
150 Grams Wheat Rava
Water to Grind
Salt to taste
FOR CHURAN:
1 Inch piece of Ginger - Roughly Chopped - To be removed while eating
4 Greed Chillies - Chopped to be removed while eating
1/4 tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
Salt to mix
TEMPERING TO MAKE EVEN BETTER: (Add before making every dosa)
1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
4-5 Curry Leaves
Coconut Oil

Bapamma Bombay Rawa is Suji and whole wheat rawa is Lapsi rawa . Again Bombay rawa is also coming in two types….zero number is very fine and also called as chirotte rawa Suji rawa no 1 is regular rawa used for Upma or sheera Just for viewers’ information 😊

I cannot say I wished I could have come there at bapama's convinence and had a proper gsb feast but I wished i could have, my mom also had the same thing but lasted only 3 yrs, i miss the food and all(her memories and tradition), so i am learning and have been cooking most of the days and learning for your bapama, tell her thank you❤

Much like most bapamas and mamamas, they would’ve liked to pursue their education and have a career. What did your bapama wish to pursue? Would she have changed anything that occurred in her life? How did she overcome cancer? Her childhood? Her schooling? Did she travel? Finally, any words of wisdom for her viewers. I can appreciate that some of things might be hard for her to share and maybe too personal but if she’s willing to share, it will be a splendid interview to watch. Thanks

Bapamma, whole wheat rawa that you have used in this recipe is also called 'Kandwa Rawa' or 'Thora Sajjige' (coarse rawa) here in Mangalore. Thank you for your beautiful authentic recipe.
