A suggestion: that tiny drawer by stove could hold potholders to remove stuff from oven.

Yes...that's what I use that drawer for. You set your kitchen up to work around the functions of appliances and such. I always put cups & glasses on side of sink since you reach to get a glass of water. She needs more of those own sheet pan holders to hold her lids.

The stained glass in the windows is gorgeous and warms my heart. My Mother, God rest her soul, had put some antique stained glass windows over our house windows too (100+ years old). She would have been breathless seeing your beautiful designs. So much to be thankful for Jamerrill.

For the three windows, I liked the two circles on each side and then would turn the rectangle to hang the long way if possible. I would stand the griddles up using one of the sheet pan organizers. Easier to get in and out of the cabinet. The small drawer next to the stove, maybe use for oven mitts?

Even though my kitchen counters are older, I still use a wooden board underneath my air fryer, pressure cooker or even slow cookers when they're being utilized. ❤

I love those drawer liners. Best thing about them? You can throw them in the washing mashine or even the dishwasher for a quick rinse if they get dirty or for anual cleaning. Also: my mother uses those racks, you want to use for your cutting boards and baking sheets, for all her pot-lids too. So she stacks all her pots in one place and has a big drawer where all her pot-lids are stacked on their side in those racks in a very orderly fashion. No more searching for lids in a chaotic stack or having them slip and slide with the pots in the same cupboard. Edit: Your new kitchen looks amazing. You all (and Travis especially) did great work. I hope it brings you many years of joy and happiness and tasty meals.

I use the silver. One time I was very sick. We were in an ice storm. And could not get down our driveway. I felt like I was getting pneumonia. My husband heated water and put the silver in about a teaspoon to a medium pot. He then had me do a breathing treatment. With a towel over my head with the steaming pot. Only did it a few minutes. The next day the congestion was gone. We also use it in smoothies to help when we are feeling ill. I have a serious autoimmune disease. Psoriatic arthritis. And chronic pain and fatigue. The silicone u-shaped pieces for the enamel dutch oven is actually for protecting the lid and edge surfaces when you are not using it or when you need to vent the pot. I have the same one and it gets a lot of use.

The bread organizers are a game changer. Yes you pull the bag over the side and there is no extra air. Also they are amazing for camping/boat sandwiches.. stack them right back in the bread bag.

Move the rectangle stain glass next to frig the the square one to the middle window. Move the two round ones somewhere else. That way it won’t be so busy. Love the kitchen so far. Also take your spice racks and put them on the lazy Susan. That would keep them closer to you for more convenience.

Congrats!!!! So happy for you!!! So for the corner cabinet there are “pie slice” plastic bins that make the circle for each shelf. They look like the ones for your fridge with handles. I’ve never had a dish washer growing up and still never had one so when you got two I was so happy for your you with a large family why not!! Iam raising my special needs grandson he’s 17 so he keeps us very busy he’s about 10 mons old mentally I change diapers the hole nine yards . My DIL set up a lower cabinet for all things kids friendly. A really pretty set of unbreakables, plates, bowls, cups, water bottles and school lunch containers. Brilliant! No more reaching for and dropping the breakables.

Consider using something like the rack you got for your sheet pans to stand your dishes up in the cabinet. It’s such a space saver and it keeps dust from settling on them. Also, consider putting your mugs and glasses in the cabinet upside down to keep dust and bugs from settling in them…

Those drawer organizers in bamboo are the best. I used them in the kitchen drawers. I put them in my utensil drawer. Helps to keep them organised. Then put some in the bedroom. Magic.

To them it’s not about actually cooking, it’s about giving the appearance of cooking. You are the exact opposite. Oh I havegotto tell you when I saw those Berenstain Bear mugs you hauled, I had to find 4 for my four youngest grands. They love Bernstein Bears. They will go in their stocking from nana and papa. And yes, my 9 grands get a stocking from us. 🤣I can’t wait bc I also make hot cocoa bombs for them. They will be so excited. I got 4 for $19. Not as good as your deal but made my heart happy!❤️💕😍

I was thinking that the baby drawer next to the stove you could put straws in if you use straws. I’m so excited you are getting to move into your dream kitchen.
