I made it but i used paprika boya insteaf of something else. And i taste it and doesent taste amazing at all. More amazing is romanian food, like onion with a little salt, oil, and vinegar. I dont understand if boya is different or not but is a simple taste for me.

I made this back in April with green onions from my garden. It is absolutely spectacular. I've been enjoying it for almost 2 months now and it just keeps getting better. It's my favorite kimchi by far and it's so easy to make. 😊

What I really like Maangchi is that whevener she makes a delicious food she remember someone special in her heart or a good memories. Because of this video I remember my friends who live in Korea. Ham luk Ja, she taught me how to play piano and give me kimchi.Joo Gyou sang Haram and Kim min wook. They are really good friends of mine.

I’ve made this pa kimchi, or any kimchi for that matter, for the first time today. And i LOVE it! 😍 it tasted exactly like how i imagined it to be. It’s really difficult to get pa kimchi here in malaysia, and they sell it for $4 for 150gm online! Me making this saved me $40 for 1.5kg worth of pa kimchi 🎉😍 thanks maangchi for the super easy recipe!

Spring Onion Kimchi, Pa-Kimchi is one of most Koreans favourite. My top favourite. Most other part of the world, sprinng onion is condiments or just a garnish, but (Shil - meaning 'thin')Pa is main dish, Pa-Kimchi, Pa-Jeon, top Koreans favourite dish.

When i was staying in Japan i got know about kimchi from my husband's friend from Korea and then after that i bought it from supermarket for several times. It's taste is close to Indian pickles but very unique.. these are my memories from Japan but for Korean food😊.. i really liked the story to told at the last of the video.. i believe that similar kind of stories happen with many people... Maangchi! I absolutely love your videos. They cheer me up on difficult days. Long time ago I requested a video on pickled garlic, do you remember? could you pretty please make the video for us on pickling veggies the Korean way? When I was little the Han family always shared their delicious food with me and Korean food became one of my true loves 🤣 The Hans moved back to Korea and I lost touch that is until last year I was miraculously able to find them on Facebook, your friend’s story reminded me of them. If any of you have access to the thinner "tree onions" or "Egyptian onions"(Allium × proliferum, known as 쪽파/jjokpa in Korean), you can use that instead (cutting isn't necessary in that case). Tree onions are the standard type of green onions used for pa-kimchi in Korea. However, this type which uses "Welsh onions"(대파/daepa) has also become popular in the recent years, especially after Kim Soo-mi showcased a recipe using daepa.

@@sigmaxcc had it just after an 1 hour, Still very good. There was very little left. 😂 We finished it before it in 2 days, never refrigerated it, just put it on the table along with other pickles and sides.

I Have been suffering from a terrible fever & sores throat ( not COVID By The Way ... ) for THE last 3 days & now I’m feeling better & guess what maagnchi , Your videos really helped me to overcome my situation & gave me moral support . I was so down both mentally & physically. Your videos really helped me overcome my mental stress & gave me appetite to eat spicy food again as I lost it during THE fever ! Love you a lot maagnchi

This video was absolutely lovely to watch from start to finish. I loved the story at the end. Really made my day! PS: I make your kimchi twice a year, each batch lasts six months and I always use the last of it to make kimchi jjigae. Thank you for all your recipes!
