麦元滨 What kind of kimchi did you make? If you use chinese cabbage, firstly, sprinkle a lot of salt. Then the osmotic pressure causes the water to drain out a lot. Then rinse well in water, drain and make kimchi. If I make a small amount of kimchi, I put a very simple recipe on my channel. The original kimchi should be made according to the above statement above👍

It makes me so anxious when cooking channels don't scrape out bowls and things properly, so I love watching Maangchi for this very reason! She's always friendly and never wasteful.

Hello from Europe, from Lithuania. Thank You very much for the recipe. Actually, with this apple broth, You can ferment the beetroots too. In Lithuania, we have the cold seasons- autumn and winter and we love to ferment vegetables.

By the way, the beetroots first need cooking. Usually, we do not peel the beetroots, just good wash, and cooking... After peel and then prep...

I made this with windfall apples, and radish, and it is soooooo good. We have some as an appetizer every lunch. So now the apples are ripe, I made some more and it is even better! I put the spices in the jar, because they sink to the bottom and the soup remains clear.

I don’t know how you do it Maangchi, but you manage to make me happy even on the worst of days with your wonderful spirit and cooking. I have chronic neck pain that sometimes gets so bad I can’t go to work or even stand up to cook us dinner... was feeling so down today. I love your recipe because it seems easy enough and there is no chemical in the ingredients. MSG or some other things are always in the store bought pickles and I don’t want eat them.

My Korean radish is so abundant in my garden right now. I’ve been making so many fermented and pickled radish dishes. I also slice my radish thin for dongchimi. But the Apple is something I have to try. Thanks for this.

Thank you Maangchi, this method is so easy! My first batch is fermenting now (divided in two half-gallon jars). The current summer heat will probably ferment it relatively quickly. But I'm excited to eventually try the cold soup, I need something refreshing to cool down. I'd love to serve this with some kind of noodle too.

Hello Maangchi👋👋😊 New audience here and subscribed right away. My friend took us to a korean restaurant for the first time, we loved it!! I had boiled chicken ( can't remember the name of the dish but it was soo yuumm, full of flavours! ) one of the side dish they served was this white raddish, chopped like thick match stick, I love it! I am going to make it with this recipe ☺☺. I also love kimchi!! I just made it today and sitting nicely on my kitchen bench for the next 2 days?? Can't wait!! Yuumm!! Thank you!!😋😋🙏🙏

Wow, that really brings back memories of my life in Korea. The broth over the cold buckwheat noodles with a few slivers of cucumber is so, so good. Dongchi is a food that you can eat coolly in summer. 14:00 It's so appetizing. The sulfur amino acids contained in dongchimi are among the active oxygen that causes aging and cancer, and they can restore damaged DNA to its original state after being attacked by a highly toxic hardxyradical.

동치미 정말 좋아하는 음식이에요~^^시원하게 먹으면 정말 맛있죠~😍 무를 왜 얇게 써시나 했더니 빨리 숙성시키려고 그러신거였군요😲 저 동치미 하나에 국수면 삶아서 같이 후루룩 먹으면 너무 맛있을꺼 같아요😍 좋은 영상 잘 보고 갑니다 망치님 코로나 조심하시고 건강유의하세요🙏
