Just an observation…Perhaps some of the foods you are eating are causing inflammation since you notice a great improvement when fasting. I have found Dr. Berry (KZbin) to also be a great source of information.

I am a Herbologist over 35 years and vegetarian. I Fast 18 to 23 hours a day it depends. I also teach my herbal friends how to Fast. I enjoy all your videos. I also do OMAD. Please keep teaching your knowledge until the pharmaceutical industry tries to stop you. I've been doing this a long time knowledge is power. When you are healthy, you don't need drugs, and drug companies don't like that. I watch so many negative lies about herbs on TV. That's because a lot of people that take herbs don't know the natural way to eat the food. Yes! Herbs 🌿 are food plants to heal the body. Herbs are also in the Bible. Great video doc.

Thank you for merging the videos together so that we wouldn’t have to go through a bunch to find what we’re looking for. I have started ADF last week and found that it gets easier every time as I can go longer without getting hungry. I have started to fast because I am a disgustingly overweight Christian and ashamed of my lack of self control. The Lord showed me that being gluttonous is a sin and that lack of self of self control is a bad look for a Christian. I have found that this method of fasting has changed the way I approach food, I am able to not give into temptation so easily and I make sensible choices when I break my fast as I don’t want to undo the good work my body has been doing repairing my body. I would like to do this type of fasting until I am at a healthy weight and then mix and match a different IF schedule to maintain the weight.

I'm interested in the protocol that you follow: six days/week of 16/8 intermittent fasting (your window of eating 12-8pm) and one day/week 24 hr fast. My question is do you start counting the 24 hrs immediately after your last meal at approx. 8 pm? EXAMPLE: your last meal is 8pm Sat, and it's now time to start your 24 hr fast. Do you start eating again on Sunday 8pm? I think I probably just answered my own question because if you went longer (say not eating until Mon at noon that would be a 40 hr fast).

Excellent information doc👍, I have been doing intermittent fasting 16/8 and it has huge benefits. I feel my body during fast is in a relaxed mode and as soon I eat to much food my body start to create inflammation. How about 3day fasting. How about coffe/tea during fast? I drink coffe but it makes my body stressful. I strongly beleive that coffee in all forms are bad for human body and do mor harm than good but people like quick fix to wake up. I beleive it could ruin the fast and also I have read some studies that coffe can harm protein in good so if you drink coffe while you eat protein and carbs your body will fokus on coffe first and coffe can damage micro biome. How about eating food after sun goes down? I know that our ancestors went to sleep much earlier but also wake up earlier to go ut in hunt. But I read something about Chinese Bodywatch where they beleive that our body is cleansing different organs in certain time, for instance liver 06-07 heart 8-9 and so on. I traditional chinese medicin they do beleive that if we eat food during some time can cause i Balance. Do you beleive in this? Another question is regarding sallive in our mouth. I read some where that we should never drink cold water at same time as we eat food since sallive can be inbalance due to water . Instead we could drink water 1hour before eating and maybe drink some hot tea afterwards. Do you beleive in this? Last question is regarding food we eating. Do you beleive that Gluten, Seedoil and sugar is harmfull and can cause autoimmune disaeses? Sorry for bad english I am doing my best 😃

Research has shown that caffeineated teas and coffee increase insulin, especially during long fasting since the increase is required to keep energy circulating in the body. Constantly causing insulin levels to rise in this way without essential nutrients may lead the pancreas to stop releasing normal insulin, resulting in diabetes. In addition, coffee and tea contain oxalates that should be taken with calcium rich foods to induce proper digestion and prohibit the oxalates from forming into kidney stones. These oxalates also interfere with the absorption of iron and should not be taken with iron rich foods. Instead, teas or coffee should be taken 1-2 hours before or after a meal to avoid interfering. Foods with Iron should be taken with vitamin c for greater absorption. While many people may be able to engage in intermittent fasting without incident, there are others who have acquired diabetes, anemia, and other health issues due to improper execution and lack of nutritional guidance. Each individual person should address fasting times and length with their licensed medical doctor and a licensed Nutritionist to create a unique plan and goal.

Very informative! Can you do a video on ketoacidosis how you can prevent or avoid it by doing a low-carb ketogenic diet? I ask this because most doctors are against healthy keto low carb only because of the term. They think it's all the same. Also they use ketoacidosis as I fear Factor to discourage people from doing healthy keto which is lots of organic vegetables low carb and better quality meat and only healthy fats no seed oils that are highly processed.
