@@overcomer4226 You want to lose weight on carnivore You absolutely cannot eat dairy. The fact that they tell you this is the biggest mistake in the carnivore community. Also you should be able to get yourself into an eating window of 6 hours basically eating in that time. Keeps your insulin down.

body recomposition happens like nearly instantly once you up the chicken boob and drop the carbs. less gas and bloating too. makes you want to hit the gym so much harder because your GI system is just less backed up up and heavy. interesting that he hasn't ever talked about the GI distress with eating a higher carb diet. his vegan patients that supposedly prioritize protein and eat a ton of lentils and tofu have got to be farting non stop with a large amount of stomach bloat..... The GI advantage alone of eating low carb and high protein keeps me on this lifestyle. The addition to the body recomp and strength+lean gains are just extra positives👊🏼 shout out to the females who want to be strong, athletic and lean too! its not only for guys!

Great choice of a guest! As for carb cycling, way back in 1995 Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale wrote The Anabolic Diet promoting a keto diet during the week and a time for carb eating (ranging from one meal to 2 days, depending on the individual) on weekends. It wasn't well known, but people who tried it were very happy with the results. He was WAY ahead of his time. You can still find on some podcasts (like Superhuman Radio) and he's written more books since then.

I'm over 40 years old and this has been working out since 2016 I put muscle back on and continue to keep it it has been very sustainable . I guess you would call it carnivore based cyclical ketogenic diet with carb backloading. Pretty much what you guys were talking about hope this helps someone

I think when a lot of women say they need the carbs, it’s really the combo of fats and carbs that they are really seeking. (ie. Donut, chocolate). It’s true about processed foods and satiety though. That’s why when I cut I load the protein and veggies and reserve the carbs for my post workout oatmeal and dinner sweet potatoes. So I still get the benefits.

You might ne anti-supplements when you are 70. I track my diet, I eat well, and I have shortfalls daily. You need to ditch your bias and track all your food for six months.
@greendeane1
@greendeane1 4 жыл бұрын
While I generally agree when I hear a doctor (or anyone say) "If you eat right you call all the nutriments you need..." et cetera I know that person has never tracked their food for a few months. If they did they would know it is extremely difficult today to get all your "nutriments" even if you eat very conscientiously. The good doctor should put his money where his mouth is and track his diet for half a year and then tell people he thinks supplements are mostly a waste of money and a big pharma hoax. Americans are deficient in a wide variety of nutriment. As for human getting along without nutriments for most of evolution, I agree because back then the only goal Mother Nature had was to get you old enough to reproduce. Living past your 30s was not in the evolutionary cards. But if you want to live to a healthy 70-somethig in the modern world you need to 1) track your diet and 2) supplement if the sure-to-be short fall cannot be met readily by diet..

Gotta love dr. Ted Naiman keeping it simple. You guys should be ashamed though of your way over-the-top garbage product promotion. I had to sit through 8 minutes of BS to even hear from your guest. Protein-added candy bars? Come on. You might as well just eat a candy bar and take the protein powder after the fact, it would save you money and probably not be any worse for your health. Also not sure how you can claim to be fasting when drinking coffee with your gross-ass keto oil added in and all the extra calories that brings. You must realize the irony of promoting that junk then having Dr. Naiman on. "Yeah I'm fasting here let me eat this stick of butter!" The one thing I will add is you did do a good job of interviewing him and teasing out answers to more questions other than what he's already addressed in many of his other interviews. Seems like most people just ask him the same questions over and over again.
