Hi My name is Karin from Extraordinary fitness. In this beginner and intermediate tutorial for aerial hoop/ lyra , we will look at different exercises to strengthen and achieve the straddle invert on aerial hoop.
Be sure to practice pole conditioning exercises such as knee tucks, knees-to-chest, and knees-to-shoulders, multiple times each week. These exercises will help you get your straddle, but also help you develop a stronger invert on the hoop/ Lyra in general.
Consistency is the key, so keep doing them regularly and add some more exercises if necessary.
