Pros don’t train like this nowadays, it’s all machines and soft movements. This is why the guys from the 90s look so much better.

it so true man. Im 250lbs on just TRT... and im lean. i built my size and density through heavy lifting. its a diffrent loook. people dont understand. you cant build hard dense looking muscle on machines - machines dont stress the muscle the same way. Im now transitioning to a balance of heavy weight and high reps.. 315 on incline for 15-20 reps. I think now I will explode with even more growth... high reps and heavy weight is what ronnie did to look the way he did. But you gotta pay your dues and build the strength first before moving over to that style.

100 percent bro myself got taught to train hard heavy intense and always barbells and dumbbells and bw over everything else ...only thing I've added In a lot recently for strict movement is the Smith machine

He did one freeweight movement and then machines. Is it that different? Look at Samson for example, regularly see him doing deep paused smith machine squats with 4 plates, Heavy reverse V-squats, leg press etc all while supersetting.

2006 is when my interest for bodybuilding video started to decline because all pro athlete were training the same = smith machine with no intensity.
